Truth is I like very few Seiko watches of any ilk. The reason why is discussed here. BUT there are some good ones and some research led me to these two JDM watches. As always they will sell out quickly. A wicked Race Ferrari also shown! A quick 2 for 1 WRV.

I’m surprised you didn’t do a whole segment on the AliExpress “11/11” sale watch bonanza.. I bought 8 watches, and they’re all pretty cool to say the least. I’m not sure if I can post pictures here, but there really were some pretty amazing pieces at ridiculous prices. I mean how can you go wrong with a $50 moon watch homage that actually looks beautiful and works? Time will tell if they all work properly for any length of time but, there’s really really good stuff up there buddy and I think you know that 🎖️

For anyone looking for a smaller beater watch I can recommend the Invicta specialty line. They are time only but come in two dozen or so color combos for around $25. Less tactical and smaller than the Smaels. I have two that I have been wearing for a couple years without issue.

Nutn, if you end up giving either Seiko away, I like both and am still yet to add a Seiko diver to the collection. If not, no prob and enjoy them!

Nut’n, you and I are at the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to Seikos. As far as I’m concerned the more tool watch the better. That’s why I love Turtles, Capt. Willards, Tunas, and Skin Divers, etc., and why my daily driver is a Marine Master. But, to each his own.

Dude! That Spinnaker is cool lookin. Have had an skx007 in the collection for years, it's comfortable with the cushion case. No manual wind on those older models so that's an improvement. Doesn't get as much wrist time as some of the other divers but a good little tool watch nonetheless. The Glycine combat diver, also reviewed, is one of my go-tos. In the warmer months I like the bright colors and chunkiness of my Aragon diver especially for a lake day. This time of year I like to go with a field watch on a nato. Just slides under the long sleeve flannels and coats so easily! Used to get some cool pieces from Massdrop about 5-6 years ago. Seems like Joma is the new go-to. Highly entertaining! Keep em comin. 👊

Just never been a Seiko fan...Citizen has been more my speed E820, AT407, etc. Thanks for the review Colonel!

Love Seiko watches!!! Yep, even their dress line. Great content NUTN!! Likewise on the Spinnaker Wreck!! My watch addiction started with your review of the Seiko Pro Trek (black and turquoise one). One of your first watch reviews ever. I'm about 150 watches deep now.

Seiko offers high value watches. They are my favorite divers. There is almost no demand for watches below this quality level, except for Swatches and G-Shocks, which are also fun. One of these days I’ll pick up a Willard.
