No joke Nutn, my brother slit his wrist vertically when cutting zipties off a fishing rod. Cut thru all the capillaries, veins . The vascular surgeon had him stay overnight just to make sure he didn’t hit the artery cause the ER couldn’t get the bleeding to stop .

I scraped open the top layer of skin on my pinky finger when scoring and snapping off plexiglass on Saturday. Even though I had gloves on, it cut me pretty good. I pressed the flap of skin down and washed with soap and water and put a bandage on. It's all closed up and will heal good. A few months ago I cut my ear and it was bleeding bad. I had to go get stitches for that one as it went down to the cartilage.

its funny this comes up. I was having guys put carpet in for me on a house yesterday and I remembered about 30 years ago slicing my finger to the bone with a carpet knife. to this day you can still see the scar!! couple things We need to do an air force stories new vid because people have been long gone and more shit can be released. Also is nutinfancy from a lynard skynard album of the same name?

Jeeze nutn.. thats just a little super glue sized wound... Ive put bigger deeper burn holes in my legs and arms welding ... dig out the metal, clean it out, tape it shut go back to work... burns like that take 3 months to heal. Its all just part of life... Keep the suture kit handy and if needles make you squeamish, you can get skin staplers now.

YES but nutn has some excellent air force stories and its been years and years ago that he did them. There was a ton of info that had to be filtered or left out because he was newly out of the guard. I know the really good shit is probably been left out and can be released. They are my all time favorite videos he has ever done. I would be fascinating to hear his opinion on DEI stuff he witnessed. weather or not there was affairs among the women they let in with other pilots and what problems that may have created, etc.

My usual first aid for construction work site cuts is to briefly clean the area enough for a little triple antibiotic and a "Skin Flex" band aid to stick to. Leave it on for 3 days, leaving it alone for washing, etc. The cut usually heals enough has good results by then.

The organization I train with has met the designer of this product that I'm attaching below. I was in one of their advanced stop the bleed courses and we all got one for our own kit. Fast forward a few months - my wife was making dinner and slicing something with the mandolin slicer... She took a good chunk of her finger off with some heavy bleeding.
