Perfect timing, as I add/remove/add/remove a certain item from my cart. Been following TNP since 2012. Thanks for your continuous work and dedication.

Personally frt > binary! And Rare Greed can ETADIK

“Full auto is for actors and assholes” …. Turns out shot placement really matters, I know my holds from arms length to out to distance. Using a two stage semi auto trigger also gives you the ability to take slack out of the trigger and not shoot, which is important to me. A 30 rd pmag of 5.56 is approximately a pound… 3 mags on the body and one in the gun is 4 pounds as a minimum .. just some food for thought

I recently ordered a FRT for my SBR PS90. Have a can as well. Low key excited to see how the P90 is supposed to run, and to have that capability in my back pocket in case of emergencies.

I had been planning to buy a Rare Breed FRT for installation on an AR-15, but after watching this video I think I'm going to defer that project...and maybe not do it at all. Thanks for the pros and cons and perspective Nutn.

matthew

Might as well buy one while you can. These are sure to be banned at some point and I bet you'll be glad you bought one down the road

My dad got a Franklin binary put it in the 556 ar15 and swapped it to the 22 really quick. Most people don’t even have the bear minimum 500 defensive and 500 training rounds I can’t imagine most people have enough ammo to actually use one. Great fun option but to make it practical I agree with nutn it takes way more logistical support. Not impossible just not easy

Carl Bailey

Back when I went through basic, automatic weapons fire was only considered for fixed position defense. The concern was the classic of conserving ammo when you might be in the boonies and hours away from logistics support. This is actually an argument for a suppressed AR pistol or SBR wth a binary or other FTSA system specifically for a defensive scenario as opposed to a patrol one. It fits the classic strategy of conserve when away and spend at home.

Rob Miller

Great video. All true. The heat is scary after just a few mags. Way too expensive to train with it.

Elijah Ballard

Nutn, just start posting the videos to rumble exclusively.

The only role that I can see this for would be an RPK -type role. A longer barrel, heavier profile, could be used to maximize the cartridge, maybe flex into dmr type too with heavier, longer barrels. Another use would be for a sub gun, like cx4, mp5, scorpion, ect.

Having shot many many full auto firearms at this point. It's a "fun" factor. Second kind of cool. It has its place on the battlefield. but a good semi auto shooter will always be more dangerous.

I have some friends that have FRTs. For several reasons I am not interested in them. I’m way more interested in getting a can and filling needs in my tactical gear systems.

Rick Grad

I think they are really fun. I’m too cheap to want the responsibility of being the semi-full auto guy in the group .

Joseph

FRT’s are cool, but I much prefer my very nice Milspec polished BCM trigger. I prefer the quality of a good semi auto trigger for good marksmanship and reliability of a proven system over something more experimental I’m heavily invested into 5.56 but seriously considering getting into a AR10 system. The best impact a civilian can have is longer range more stealthy practices Harder hitting power, more well placed shot. I’d love to be into a belt fed system, but I feel like you can have more effect for the weight with carrying less ammo and being more accurate

What caliber in an AR10?

Posted on Rumble. I strive not to use censorTube if possible. The talking points were cogent and interesting. Thank you.
