Definitely agree with your analysis of PSA. I own more than 4 of them. Rolled my own. I’ve gotten very good accuracy out of mine, even with the stock barrels. I got a half MOA group at 600yds with a rack grade PSA kit. May have been a fluke but I got the pics to prove it. What I’ve noticed is the barrels wear in and are amazing but over time wear out quicker. But for the price, it’s just got to cycle and be moderately close. I hunt hogs with my pistol .300OB PSA. It lays them out.

Longer vids please!!! 😁👍🏻🇺🇲

Hell yah! I have that same 10.5 in a 556 variation. I carry it when I’m checking my trap line in the winter.

This is my works D6 getting pulled out of the ocean. We run it during flood events to clear a creek that fills with gravel. The operator got a little too close to the drop off and sunk. The ocean drops to about 150-200 feet at that point. Luckily didn’t lose the machine or the operator.

Great content Nutn, would love to see more feature length vids.

Bluegill097

I really want AR in 9mm but then I think… why spend that much on a heavy blow back PCC when I could have a roller delayed one for more money?

Beck

Nutn, I need to say it and I dint like to but you sound sometimes a bit negative. How comes? No need to be negative or sad, you still have the freedom to go out and do gunnruns, to go plinking. I hope the shoulder does well and god bless! Heads up buddy and thank you for years of tnp, years of good gun content! I come and go on patreon, but once a can spare some, I am happy to spend it to tnp! Thnk you Sir! God bless!

PSA gets a lot of crap online, but I’ve always had good experiences with them. I have a few thousand rounds through a few different PSA firearms and so far no major issues. Is the fit and finish as good as something that’s $1500? Nope. But it works well enough for what 99% of people will ever do

Buff Orpington

In my experience, if the decision comes down to buying an expensive gun and little ammo or an inexpensive PSA and a boatload of ammo plus training, choose the ammo

The Nutnfancy Project

OMG what a great photo and congrats on a great machine. Glad it didn't sick into the depths b that's $$$. Thanks for weighing in, will tell TNPrs about your D6 in future episodes

The Nutnfancy Project

Copy, thanks for weighing in. I have several more 20 min vids but I'll work to get back to feature length

The Nutnfancy Project

Xlnt post Casey, thanks much. That is outstanding accuracy. Yep the barrels ain't quite up to the high end std but as you and I know it won't matter much. Thanks for being here.

Todd Strelka

Nice pistol. Thanks for the honest GRV. PSA makes some great stuff. Not outstanding. 😊

In another world, we would have Norinco instead of PSA, and things would be much worse. I think they bit off more than they can chew, too many SKUs and oddball models, but they are fellow enthusiasts so they're always coming out with something cool. Been window shopping the Jakls a few times, and their AK-V. I think the AR's are more than most shooters can handle, and make a fantastic entry point with the challenge to wear it out.... if they could ever afford to. I've been seeing some amazing reliability in the entry-level AR space lately, and it's hard to say people will shoot out a PSA to the point of destruction. Give it a once-over to make sure everything is done correctly and it's GTG

Tacticaldoodle

As long as they choose the ammo! I fear it's a cop-out for some to justify their purchase, when they instead buy 2 more interesting/fun/affordable guns instead of shooting the one they got. (I have this problem too, in fairness) Then again the only people actually getting their money's worth from the premium brands are competition guys, usually with sponsorships of some sort. I saw an SBR'd scar have a full-on bolt failure a few months back. No new parts on it, lots of suppressor use, some FRT. He didn't know how many rounds he'd had through it in 10 years of use, maybe 20k overall, but could've been more

Buff Orpington

100% with you. Buying is easy, taking the actual time out of a schedule to train with it is much harder. I find that the time aspect is the hardest part and probably results in exactly what you’re describing - no time to shoot so dude will buy two more PSA uppers and a meme lower

hoplite ⚔️

I prefer the longer vids too. Tonneau cover blew open and a bunch of my tools got rained on and soaked. Had to spend a couple hours cleaning and organizing them. Needed some long format TNP vids to get through that 💩 work.

Kyle Soucy

What drives me crazy though are the people that have a million PSA pistols/rifles they never shoot and could have bought a superior gun, ammo, and gotten training instead.

Bravo

I’m honestly waiting for an EB character to get caught with a PSA as their personal carry-on. 😆 A lot of people say quality is variable and production inconsistent. Some are great and some are hokey. Wondering if you’ve seen that as your reviews are generally glowing. Not been in the black rifle market for a while. Maybe I’ll pick one up… 🤔

Buff Orpington

Hahaha I’ll tell you from the guys I know, doesn’t matter what some folks buy. $400 gun, $3000 gun, few actually go shoot it. This has been a big change in my philosophy. I’m ragging on those who don’t go shoot, but I was once that guy - collecting stuff, maybe going out every few months. But these past two years I made a commitment for at least one range run every week and it’s completely changed my perspective on where my money goes for guns. Now I don’t chase trends or waste as much money - dump money into ammo and range time, use what you want, train with what works for you

Quinncannon

Excellent video, thanks!

Quinncannon

I have a couple of PSA AR pistols as well as a few carbines, no complaints. I keep one suppressed as well. I have seen some "burn down" PSA upper videos on other creators feed, the amount of ammunition fired, makes one know, that if a $400.00 PSA rifle, carbine or pistol can do that, then they are very much worth the money and will outlast most who shoot them.

Anthony Schaad

I still got my psa 14.5 Sabre , great rifle!!! I only had 3 at/ak pistol’s in the past 8 yrs and I just sold the last one ! I unfortunately just never shot them , I always grab my 16in guns . But I think it also a stupid me issue… in the thought process of if I keep all my ARs around that 14.5/16 inch I’m not gonna have to worry about too much extreme deviation if I had to switch to a 10.5 . My holds and even Kentucky windage I can be super close if everything is full size lol

Anthony Schaad

Nutn did u read about Ruger be bought by beretta and discontinuing quit a bit of there production lines ?? Ie ( bunch of revolvers, 1911, almost all their PC line)

The Gates Family

I’ve been burned by PSA so many times that I don’t even bother with them anymore. Why would I? I can get a complete BCM upper for $700 and a complete Centurion Arms lower for $300, and for A GRAND, I have a service grade rifle I can pass down to my kids someday.

Squid556

I think if you’re going less than 11”… the 300 blk makes a lot of sense. The variety of ammo is nice too.

Squid556

Really when talking .300 blk, my mind always goes to the debate between a PCC or .300 blk. Both have their pros and cons. But subsonic .300 blk is pretty much just expensive pistol ammo.

RafterW

Nice! I bought one of their kits to assemble a pistol, providing my own lower. Pretty good stuff! Great stuff for the money absolutely.

David Elkins

Had to watch this twice because it was too short by a half :)
