Welcome to perhaps a new chapter in TNP content: Vehicle Tactical Operations or VTO.  With trusty Jardine we get into the TNP Wolverine X4 out in the middle of nowhere to shoot on the move!

The engagements are challenging and different presentations are used.  This is mostly for entertainment and fun (and it is!) but some interesting lessons emerge from the guns ran in this way. In this VTO Premier episode you'll see the Winchester SXP, Glock 17, and Springfield Armory XDM 5.25 ran in the drills.

A combination of handheld camera integrated with GoPro gives you a front seat to the action. I've needed the right vehicle to do this from and the Yamaha Wolverine is perfect: adaptable, rugged, wide open, and I don't care if it gets beat up!

So come on along for a brand new, rousing content option, part of the Operation Valkyrie desert expedition.  If it's popular you'll see different weapons tested with new twists and turns, in new terrain.

Thanks to Jardine for being the awesome friend, shooter, and TNP crew member that he is!

Just when I thought the evening couldn't get any better! Awesome job.

Ryan Reese

Can’t wait to watch this one... important question for you though Nutn. I came across a S&W M&P9 2.0 Compact in FDE for for $420. I just rewatched your 2.0 video and I’m really considering it. Should I go for it?

Tacticaldoodle

Superbly cool. Takes me back to those cool old missions in MW where you had to drive around on a snowmobile schwackin' russians with a glock 18.

SteveT

Jardine rocking a shotgun? oh yes.

Gyorgy

Awesome vid. Is there any mountain content coming with your new dog?

The Nutnfancy Project

The M2.0 is xlnt. I have one in .40 that I love...it was purchased after the review. But there are many great pistols. Go look at the CZP10 series, the IWI Massada, the PPQ series, the Taurus G3 for comparisons. Get the one that makes you happiest. That prices seems decent btw.

SteveT

That camo job on the SXP is giving me the horn. Its hot.

Lon N

Damn, read the title of the email and thought the Wolverine mods had commenced "Vertical Take Off".... Thanks for the ton of content Nutn, much appreciated. Big thanks to Jardine for everything he does to make TNP mo bettah.

Brett B

Hilarious! Thank you for the smiles.

Ryan Reese

You’re right, thanks. Ironically I proceeded to watch the CZP10 (and Canik) videos again right after the M&P 2.0 one for reference. I don’t have anything against the CZs, they’re just way down on my lists. I already have a G17 and an XD. Walther mil discount is still $400 for the PPQ this year so I’ll get before December. But I’m pretty close to pulling the trigger on the M&P. 😬

Todd Strelka

This is content I really like! I’d love to see more Tactical Vehicle Operations.

Tacticaldoodle

Man, it really makes me miss this trilogy. I wish I could've seen it as a kid, it's just the most primo Gi-Joe play ideas ever put onscreen. This one and the mission where you board the russian subs to use their missiles were rad. Remember how the Masada/ACR was so cool and futuristic? Guess that was pre m-lok. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXy1b-wn1c0&frags=pl%2Cwn

Tacticaldoodle

Canik is great and so damn cheap I'd get one regardless. If it's just to have something diff. and the additional mags don't change much the M&P is prolly my pick. I certainly prefer it to the CZP10, even the PPQ. FDE esp. has a LOT of character, and the tactile feel is just great along withthe featureset and usability. It's a good deal for it.

Ryan Reese

.... and I’m going back downstairs to press “add to cart”. 🤙 Thanks TD and Nutn! Free shipping too. 😁

HappyFrancisMacomber

+1 for TDs Canik comment. My FDE canik TP9SF is so sweet every time in hand. Slap on a Olight in FDE and this gun sings.

Scout154

Can't get enough of your content. TNP lifer

DarkPassenger

I do this on the way to work everyday... well okay no. Looks fun.

RJCa5533

Really enjoying having TD & Jardine in the videos more often. Keep up the outstanding work.

Aaron Martin

Nutn talkin smack after laying down some heat. 😂🤣

Courtney M

Nutn taught me how to drive-by.

RJCa5533

Should throw some blanks in the magazine to simulate a jam. Maybe the curse of the desert will do that for you though.

Todd Strelka

That’s a great wintertime operations idea in the desert. Snowmobiling while shooting Glocks and Russian AKs.

The Nutnfancy Project

Thanks Scout for that enthusiasm, it makes the work to make the vids all worthwhile.

Ricky Kurtz

Hey LTC and Jardine, lite’em up dudes !!!!! Keep cap’n off rounds. Ricky from IBM

Ricky Kurtz

Hey LTC, your correct, people want to do what your doing. I actually had this type of training at ITTS Gun Fighting School in Los Angeles some years ago. shooting from inside a moving vehicle and from the running boards of a Suburban (aka LEO type vehicle). It was a real trip and boy did I learn a lot. Ricky from IBM

Kenny VanCleave

I laughed my ass off. What a bunch of dorks. I love it.

Sheepdog

It's the adult version of "A-10 Warthog strafing from the bicycle on the Air Force base as a kid" ... Love it!

Outrider950

Totally entertaining...AWESOME.

Notmyshadow

Nice. TNP OPV W VTO. I really did the first person POV( many acronyms today) . Not as a replacement for over the shoulder, but as an enhancer. Jardine is cool as a cucumber even when taken off guard, or with malfunctions. He might be un unflappable. Might be cool to start a drill with a W VTO and then running a short run n gun course (safely of course) . Good work!

Jardine

Ooooh, "Vertical Take Off".....fly bys instead of drive bys. I like it.

Lon N

"Strafing run"...

Tacticaldoodle

I still remember shooting the TP9 back to back with the then-new VP9 that chad got. I liked the turk more than the HK, which I still hold as a pretty good gun. Even I'm not impervious to the coolness inherent to the pricey Koch's. I'd still go TP9.

Mark Higginson

I enjoyed the video and look forward to future comparisons between similar firearms. Having a pump, box and semi-tube, i.e. mossberg 500, vepr and beretta M2 blast away.

Ricky Kurtz

Hey LTC, what was the handgun Jardine was using ? Can you give some details on the vehicle you guys are using, I’m not familiar with it. Ricky from IBM

DuginIN

“If it's popular you'll see different weapons tested with new twists and turns, in new terrain. “ Rifles and exploding targets.

Tacticaldoodle

Pretty sure it's a G17. I think it's the special edition one in dark grey if my eyes are right. Vehicle is a Yamaha Wolverine X4

Tacticaldoodle

I remember doing somethinglike that but it's expensive to lose $8 snapcaps out there. :/

Tacticaldoodle

Oh yeah, that was the POU for the TAR, huh? Would be nice to have an excuse to put a rail on that thing. I love the look of the squared off pulse rifle forend.

RJCa5533

Oh gosh no, not snap caps. Yeah that’s way too expensive. I’m saying blanks. That way you get bang bang bang but the last one wouldn’t have the power to cycle the slide. Tap, rack, boom. Keep going.

Ricky Kurtz

Thanks Tacticaldoodle !!! Ricky from IBM

Mike Maddox

It’s great watching you guys slinging hot lead at steel. Throwing the ole pump shotty in the mix as well is awesome. Keep it coming, as always leaving us wanting more. You have definitely started a new way to run & gun with the wolverine. Or should it be riding & gunning?

Tacticaldoodle

Maybe we'll try it with a double barrel coach gun. That would seem pretty appropriate too.

Mike Maddox

Yes that would pretty cool too. I would like to also see it with the fn slp mk1 shotgun and the mossberg 930 jm pro shotgun. The auto loaders would make for some great action.

Outrider950

I have 2 length flavors of the RPM handgaurd with KM. If you want to run one for grins let me know. I personally prefer the longer variant as it allows my to run it along the lines of an AR. Both of the RPM handgaurds are significantly lighter than the MI and Manticore offerings and make barricade work much easier. Unfortunately no matter how useful they are I keep coming back to the OEM HG. They are just lighter.

Kyle Snavely

Op V was a great series of videos, thank you Nutn and Jardine!

David Goodridge

Way back when I was a kid, 40+ years ago. Using a pickup, this was a great way to rabbit hunt.

Craig D Olson

great job nutn! both of you, actually. awesome vid
