This is part of an entire Wolverine wilderness adventure with Mrs Nutnfancy.  That video will come out later.  But since time is ticking up in this 10,500 ft elevation for snow levels, I'm breaking out this mini video to give TNP Patrons a chance for the hunt!  Some cool stuff is in this cache, the best yet!

CONGRATULATIONS TO CURIS MEINHARDT FOR FINDING THE CACHE.  HE DIDN'T TAKE IT AND LEFT SOME OTHER ITEMS.  I WILL USE AMMO CANS AND STOCK THESE UP EVEN BETTER...STAY TUNED!

Another free and fun Patreon only video!

Sweet cache. Beautiful country. I love it out west in the mountains.

Lon N

There are days I hate you Nutn... do you have any idea how damn much it's going to hurt buying/building a bush plane just to look for some knives 1600 miles round trip from home? Super cool to have treasure hunts, thank you, I wish I were there.

Mobius 1

This is super cool!!! Too bad I'm all the way down in Texas. Can't make it out.

2A_Overland

710 miles away from me! Love the cache though Nutn

Todd Strelka

I could see TNPrs going to get this cache today. Very remote. I don't think I could take my truck up there. Very cool!

Michael B warner

Quick question Nutn do you think the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8×24 is still a good value given it's increased price around $400 ?

Todd Strelka

I could see TNPrs going to get this cache today. Very remote. I don't think I could take my truck up there. Very cool! Almost 84 miles from my house. Good luck friends.

Ken

That Wolverine is really cool. I got the chance to rent a Polaris General UTV in the Black Hills of South Dakota a few weeks ago. So much fun! I want one now.

Cyberstump

I am in Texas as well, and just had the discussion with my wife that if this wasn’t 1084.7 miles from my house I would be loading 3 of my 4 children in the car to go on an adventure. Heck, If my kids weren’t back to school yet I would be doing it. My wife’s response, “ if you take the kids, I don’t care what you do” :)

Cyberstump

66 miles? Dude, you could be out and back before dinner! Go for it!

John S

Here's my idea, NutnFancy sends Patreon supporters caches for and in behalf of NutnFancy to hide around the US. Obviously, if you're the one hiding it, you cant get it, but you make a quick video showing the coordinates for the next hunt. I got north central FL covered if you want to do it Nutn.

Todd Strelka

I can say I'm not changing mine. It works great for me. I paid just under $400. Bought mine around Thanksgiving almost two years ago just before Nutn's review was posted.

Ruben Lopez

That's awesome Nutn! Wish I was closer would take the family! Maybe you can drop one in Hood River next time, I'm in Vancouver, WA! Also first week of Electrician Apprenticeship bootcamp! One week left! 3 dude's down already from a class of 12! Pray for fellas, it ain't easy!!!👊🏾🙏🏾🤙🏾

Ol Retired Fed

Might as well be on the moon. At 10,471 ft, I would need supplemental oxygen just to get there. Living on the Gulf Coast at 100 ft for 30 years, I'm not too good in the high country anymore. Best of luck to the alpine guide that finds it.

Nick Clements

75 miles from my house. I don’t have a gps... I doubt my phone gets service there! Hahaha

The Nutnfancy Project

That's probably a fair price. All the value optics have gone up. Strelka turned my on to the SEs and they are great scopes, rec'd.

The Nutnfancy Project

That sounds fun Ken, great job getting out. That's what we did at first too; rented.

grunt12g

Man I would love to go for this. Too bad I live in the west coast

NatvMan

73 miles, but it’s already been 2 hours. Bet some lucky person is almost there.

Aaron Walker

Your phone will still work as a gps. You can download a specific app for that or just download only the maps you need on Google maps. Go get it

Maplebrew

Just like the old original days where Nutn was a Geo Cache’r. Too bad from Cleveland Oh it’s 3 days

Aaron Walker

I'm down just to donate and hide a cache of stuff I don't really use. Knifes, holsters etc. It would be 2nd rate used stuff but far better than a normal geocach

RowdyRon

Awesome treasure chest! I don't think my Civic would make it. Hope someone gets it soon. Thanks Nutn.

Connor Murphy

Awesome, Nutn. Congrats to whoever finds it!

Josh

Yeah.. I'm in the ozarks.. Great fun idea though.

Mike R

Man I don’t know how to put it in coordinates in google maps because I ended up somewhere in China. Haha

Racing Psychosis

My adventure cache is somewhere at Sugar River Raceway, where we launched a GoPro Session 4 and Max Torque clutch off the back end of one of our karts....the clutch will have a piece of the crank shaft still on it... have fun looking for them. That's pretty cool thing to do Nutn, I don't think I'll make it out there any time soon.

Paul Griech

Very cool nutn my family loves Geo caches but I think Utah is going too be a little to far for the Pennsylvania boy!

Icehouse13

Me too. Figured it out. Have to put a minus in front of the 111.

Joshua Mount

Im in nj and play in the pine barrens all the time. Im about 20 mins away so its pretty easy for me. Ive found beautiful lakes in the middle of nowhere in there exploring in my jeep or KTM. Its wierd in there at night in some places though especially where theres been wildfires. Sometimes its dead quiet no bugs chirping or anything. It would be cool if nutn came out here. He may have been to Ft. Dix or Mcguire AFB though so he may have spent time in here

Kurtis Meinhardt

Well... I did it! 4176 Nutn! That was a beautiful scenic adventure! I actually decided not to take everything and encourage anyone who can to get up there! I started a little guestbook and left a few items I had on hand! Haha! It wasn’t too terribly hard to get to, Gen 4 lifted 4Runner with all terrain tires made it no problem! Met some cool hotshots from Cedar City doing some logging, and clearing the trails, friendly families on side by sides for the bow hunt, and even saw a moose!

Steve Naylor

That would explain why I couldn’t find it. Nice job! Thanks for a little Sunday fun Nutn.

Kurtis Meinhardt

What time did you make it? I was there at 7:00 tonight!

Kurtis Meinhardt

You should have been able to find it! I put it right back where I found it and even left some of the items!

Kurtis Meinhardt

Dang that’s crazy I can’t believe I missed you!

Steve Naylor

7:30 ish. I may have taken a wrong left turn near the summit. I lost google maps just before that. Those hot shots must work all day.

Matthew Sinn

Dang I missed my chance to guess the code.... 1 2 3 4.... 5

Mobius 1

Yea dude. You can use Google Maps to download a certain area of maps and you can then use that downloaded area OFFLINE! Bro GO GET THAT SHIT!

Mobius 1

ROAD TRIP!!!! Comon kids we're going to see Nutnfancy! Kids: "Who?" XD

RT Conrad

Thanks for the flashlight

TNSheep

I mean, the code is obviously BR549 =D har har

Andrettski

I'm only about 880 miles away from Big Ridge. Definite home field advantage to the local TNP Nation. Would have been a great ride up there on my YZ250 (Hell yes 2 stroke). Mr and Mrs Nutn need to take a little Mt St Helens tour vacation in the NW Cascades and drop some cache goodies

Joe Foss

I’m sure my 78 2200R lifted & 33’s 4 WD SR5 Toyota or even my Xterra with lockers would make it...........But, I’m on the East coast 😆 sounds fun & I like the the tnp’rs are leaving goodies too. The been hear sign in book is a good idea too.👍

Red dog 1

Looks beautiful up there Nutn. Mrs. Nutn gets a fail on the knife opening. nutn I love that you are always encouraging us to get out there and live, get out there and adventure. Life is short. Live it up and enjoy. Everybody needs to make time and go adventure or before you know it your life is over and and you never really lived. Everybody dies, but not everybody lives.

Kurtis Meinhardt

You totally would have made it, honestly a sedan could have made it if you were brave enough!

Lon N

Sort of, gotten to, some treasures kept, others added along with a guest book. Not myself, but details on the community side of Patreon.

Kurtis Meinhardt

Yeah I got to it and kept a couple of items and decided we could turn it into nutnfancy geocache

Kurtis Meinhardt

Added a couple of random things I had in my pocket haha

Zachary Jackson

Dudes! That’s awesome. I’m like 2 hours away... I may have to go and do a gift exchange on that box as well. How much of that is legit off road required? I will most likely have to walk the last part

steve garrett

you guys are quick!!!! I was up there at 3pm, should have looked at the comments first. oh well my boys and I loved and adventure. took a side by side up from the north side of current creek. I didn't see anything left behind. looked pretty close around that rock under and around it.

Kurtis Meinhardt

Depends on how much you wanna abuse your car haha! I have a 4 runner and just aired down the tires. I would trust a Subaru Outback to get up there no problem

The Nutnfancy Project

Great to hear all the hunting going on. I'm going to hide another soon. Great job finding it guys...lmk who was the first.

Kurtis Meinhardt

I believe I was! I posted here and on the community page the 4 digit code.

RT Conrad

I got up there in my Nissan Versa

J Ram

Congrats Kurtis on finding the cache!!! And good sport not taking all the items and leaving some for someone else, well done sir!!

Tim Bone

Please hide a cache of 30-round magazines in California and maybe some body armor outside Chicago, IL. Believe me...if any Project members find it they're taking it! 😂

Schventagon

My friend Jacob and I headed up there Thursday afternoon. Great ride, and we put the pickup I bought recently through some off-roading. The cache had already been taken by someone after Mr. Meinhardt, but even though we didn't bring home any gear, we had a fantastic time.

Guy Actual

I will say this. I was lucky enough to be able to get one of the PA 1-8 FFP with the ACSS, and i will purchase it every time over the vortex. It was just over 400 on BDU, but they only got 7 in and I was quick. My buddy has the Vortex and even in a SFP, i would take the PA. The Reticle is just sharper, and on the FFP it gets equally as bright as the Vortex. Not so much on the SFP, but still a better reticle to me. Just my $0.02
