What did I do to earn all these videos? Great stuff Nutn! Keep 'em coming.

Danny Borrello

I've been trying to score a Henry in stainless and 44 mag for hunting, but finding one has been impossible due to our current political climate. Maybe next year....

The Nutnfancy Project

Dang...I am hearing that a lot. Many many guns are out of stock and forecast to be so for awhile. Glock is even saying they are short on raw materials and to expect 2021 to be grim.

Lever guns are awesome! Word on the street is Marlin QC has come back a good deal post the Remington/Freedom Group buyout. 👨‍👩‍👧❤

Hey Nutn if you get a chance could you update the links on your Strike Eagle review? The optics planet site no longer carries that model anymore. I'm definitely buying the 1-8×24 and I would really like to get it through one of your links. Amazon has both the 1-6 & 1-8 in stock a hundred bucks cheaper than through Vortex's site. This way my purchase can help to further the project every little bit counts.

My dad always wanted a .44 lever gun. I was able to get him a Henry .44 carbine, case hardened variation, for fathers day a last year. Its a beautiful gun and so much fun to shoot. Back then I was able to find cowboy loads at a lgs for $25 a box, great for plinking.

The Nutnfancy Project

It seems that way. We did get a huge surprise on the Marlin Dark Series .30-30...you'll see it ranted about in the Bunker with TD

The Nutnfancy Project

OK I will do that now, thanks Michael. The Strike Eagle is still a great scope.

Thomas Bachtell

6:25 to 6:35 is that a vehicle on the ridge?

Todd Strelka

I love my Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 scope.

Racing Psychosis

Yea still looking for a 44 Mag Lever, preferably a Henry over the Marlin. I have a stash of 44 Mag, since I got rid of a Redhawk. Still love hunting with my 357 Mag Henry.

Steelhorses

Oh no! I still want to get a G43

Todd Strelka

That is such a good looking gun. I want one. Maybe even a near prefect truck gun.

Shot442

Good eyes!

Maplebrew

Safety on a 1894? BLASPHEMY, Yank it OUT !!

RowdyRon

Way cool lever gun. Wonder how the ballistics would compare between this an a 30-30? I had a "Big Bore 94" (.375 Win) years ago. Always wanted another lever gun. That one is sexy! Would love to see some more accuracy testing with it. Thanks Nutn

Daniel Herb

1894s always excite me. I want another one...

Kenny VanCleave

I think Marlin has been making a come back over the last few years. I own the 1894 in 45-70. Hits hard with minimal amount of kick. Just a handsome rifle that harkens back to the days when men were men and cows were afraid.

Nutn videos on rotation right now! Love the surge in content. Really enjoy the videos. Keeps doing what you're doing Nutn

MCatl

Paul Harrell has your answer on his You Tube channel where he compared both, using a Marlin 336 and a Marlin 1894.

MCatl

The last couple of years of production have been excellent. I just hope Remington's engineers have been able to solve the legendary Marlin jam that the .44 Magnum rifles are prone to develop from way back in the day. Marlin could never seem to sort it out.

MCatl

I like the raw shooting videos. Perhaps a "C channel" just for those?

steve garrett

I have an 1894c in 357, for plinking and rabbit hunting its probably the funnest gun I have to shoot. its also a favorite for teenagers to shoot. its like a 22 LR but throws a brick. that pistol case pretty much burns up in the barrel, so its not excessively loud. I would like to try a winchester 92, I wish nutn would do a winchester 94 30-30 review. the regular winchester 94 is only 2 0z heavier. than a marlin 1894

RowdyRon

Thanks. I had seen that one, but had completely forgotten.

JDCoy

Love lever guns, but mine are all 22LR. My son has one in 308 and it's fun to shoot. Henry Long Ranger. If John Wayne had one of those back in the day;) All cattle rustlers would have been wiped out.

Kinoons

Doodle was totally right. That thing needs a red dot and to be threaded for a suppressor ASAP.

Lon N

Looks like a ton of fun. 44 is a very worthy 100ish yard bambi blaster.

Foxhound

I'm sold... on the 45-70. Hollywood influenced of course.

Chris Marchi

So did you end up keeping the gun?

Phake A'Count

Mine's the 1894c in .357 since I don't actually hunt. It's blued with a straight stock. with a small scope, it is accurate to 100 yards shooting 6" targets. Never had a problem with the semi-buckhorn sights out to about 50 yards. I got it in 2005 as a companion for a S&W 686+. The 1894c is my favorite gun ever (and I have an AR15 and a bunch of other guns). I'd like to get a large loop lever.
