I have had mine for awhile now. I alternate between this and my Leatherman Free P2. I wear mine every day on my belt. Surprising these nylon holders are very durable.

Definitely cool do I want one yes, do I need one at that price tag no. If I could think of a real reason to get another leatherman that size I would pick that one up, but I have two waves already.

Love my blacked out Wave+ Also for anyone in southwestern Missouri or Northern Arkansas. My local pawn shop has a few brand new Leatherman Wave+ for $50! A knife store owner sold out his inventory. They had 5 or 6 left today when I stopped by.

Wow, just looked back and I've been EDCing (and I mean EVERY SINGLE DAY) my Signal for 6 years now! That bumped my MUT from EDC to a pack... That was a solid 4 years. So that's a decade of full-size Leathermans in pocket and used mercilessly. ...Although still no use for a carry flashlight! :P

I personally like the Leatherman Knifeless Rebar. It possesses a full toolset (including scissors) and it weighs less than the other MDMTs. And I bet most people really don’t use the knife blade that comes with multitools nowadays. They probably have a folder of some kind with them so why bother with a knife on a multitool? I wish more manufacturers offered knifeless editions of their more popular multitools for guys who don’t need that superfluous blade.

And one more thing: the Phillips driver on the knifeless Rebar can accept the Gerber bit drive set that takes standard hex bits. This addition is far superior to the cheesy, overpriced Leatherman two dimensional driver sets.

If anyone likes the look of the leather man core at the beginning the tool set is almost indistinguishable from a leather man Rebar.

Leatherman really keyed into a niche market with their creation many years previous. At work the Rebar is used two to three times a day in lieu of walking back to toolbox. For EDC off duty, the PS4 has saved the day many a time. My trusty, (broken blade) Juice sits forlorn on desk. Great review of superlative tool. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication

I have a MUT for the range and a Wave for daily carry. I do need a new sheath for my Wave tho, it is starting to rip apart....

My fallback and always in use is the Wave. I have a MUT and an OHT only for second cool now. Wave just works best for me. Have 3 of them. Did the blade upgrades on them too. Been in my edc left pocket for 10 years and counting.
