One of our favorite .22 combat auto trainers yet!  TacticalDoodle is here for this one and we have a great time. We break out the Beretta 92F for comparison and you'll have a hard time telling them apart. This M9-22 shot fast and accurately and everyone who tried it wanted one.

Boker XXL Kalashnikovs all out of stock, order when review comes out! I am trying to get BHQ to get more.

You guys are great and I love berettas. I needed this tonight. Cheers gents.

3jeep

I love seeing you guys out there testing in real world conditions. Just curious, will we ever see Jardine again?

bugout

22lr ftw these days... not feeling undergunned w the reliability, speed, accuracy, weight of my m&p compact nic taylor 14+1, longslide sr22 16+1 (tandemkross + nic taylor), or p17 (stock)... even feeling good w/ my LCR 8rd for low probability scenarios lately. the more i look at the stats it just seems quickest w accurate rounds on target wins... regardless of caliber... and the aforementioned firearms have been stupid consistent for me. now winter with layers - hmmmm... but summer yes. my go to lately has been the 351c 22mag, 7shot at just.. 11oz!!!

David Gaines

I want the rest of the SOG Pillar review lol. I also want to buy the bronzed special edition from you!

Greg Malcom

I bought a Glock 44 and it has been 100% reliable with 4 major brands of 22LR and about 750 rounds through it. I've only used 36 or 40 grain bullets.

Joshua Pulliam

I emailed BHQ about the Kalashnikov XXLs a few weeks ago. They are supposed to get more from Boker, but they do not know when yet.

The Nutnfancy Project

Yes you will! With ammo hard to find and guns hard to get I'm having to get creative in gun reviews. But Jardine is still a crew member. He's busy often with his kids in sport in the Fall to early winter.

Mike S

Just was about to go to bed, and then this video popped up. Guess I'll go to bed a little later. Been shooting a 92-22LR conversion kit recently so this video is perfect timing. Here is that article that Doodle was reading off of. I'm glad I'm not the only one who took issue with Jeff Cooper's endorsement of a cap and ball revolver as a proper US military sidearm over the M9. https://americanhandgunner.com/1985issues/HND85.pdf

squealer

Darn it. Unfortunately I can live without one solely due to lack of threaded barrel. I've a PPQ 22 SD, so shouldn't complain, but ... oh hell, I'll complain anyway. Lack of infinite coin really bites sometimes.

Cyborg009

I bought a 22LR conversion kit years ago. You can still get them.

Shawn Kuse

Ruger Mark IV or this Beretta?

Rick Grad

What an awesome.22! The Beeer et ra 92 was my first handgun and I’ve always loved them. I picked up an Italian police trade in when they sold for about $200 a few years ago, love shooting it. Best line: “self-cuck”😂😂

Andrew Baldwin

Love my 92, it's a heavy clunky (sexy) beast. The .22 version might just be my next goal. Too bad I gotta swap out all my GTW 9mms for black powder revolvers, apparently.

Brett B

Another fun review! Thank you!

JR

Great video. Appreciate the gun and knife stuff. Learning how to "reformat" the big hand and little hand of my watch with glorified electrical tape is of lesser interest. Van life videos go straight to the top of the queue though. It's not you. It's me.

Jonathan Erber

One of my employees is a big ufo buff so we talk about it allot at work. I was fairly skeptical until seeing some interviews with David Fravor and was wondering if you ever heard about or had any ufo encounters while in the Air Force particularly at Minot?

Kenny VanCleave

TD is so funny. I can't imagine a time when you had to spank him. I can see him trying to get out of a spanking by making you laugh your ass off. What a great young man you raised. I wish we could see more of last suspect. Beretta did the 22 right.

The Nutnfancy Project

Thanks for doing that. Yep I think Covid and the shipping from China thing has all things backordered. It's ugly out there.

The Nutnfancy Project

Tough choice. This one is much heavier so if SAWC is imp. then go Mk 4. But the 15 rd mag on this is stellar.

The Nutnfancy Project

Van life vids. huh? Well you're the 2nd wanting that. The Astro is a little more beat up but still in use!

Tacticaldoodle

One of the worst (out of all three or four it happened in my lifetime) was when I yelled back at him for saying I did a "half-assed" job cleaning up my star wars action fleet stuff. I thought I was saying "half-asked" when I got huffy, and that backtalk just won't fly.

Tacticaldoodle

I think I answered this on the main, but AFAIK he saw a blob or two up there once, which could be a lot of different stuff. I think his dad may have a story or two from back in the 50's though, he did his training in '56.

Tacticaldoodle

Pretty much every facet of the supply chain will be laggy until 2023 at least. Our lovely "just in time" oriented logistics systems don't take well to cascading stops across multiple continents, countries, and systems.

Joshua Pulliam

And that is if everything continues to calm down and not re-escalate. Like when Trump throws his hat back into the ring. . . .

Tacticaldoodle

When one comes in stock! Haven't seen them around, like a lot of KT stuff. For all the talk about quality miffs, they get snapped up freakin' fast. Excited for their new 5.7 toy, too.

Tacticaldoodle

Kinda comes down to function, no? If you love the toy/form factor of the 92, then it wins. (Especially nice if you want to get your kids into shooting, the more video game'd and general issue something is, the happier they are) The capacity is nice, but as far as .22 pistols go a nice ruger Mark IV is dang near unbeatable, if not for the mag capacity.

Phillip Robinette McKracken

Really like my Mark IV. Runs everything really well. Just my 2 cents. I could still see the cool factor in the Beretta. And you can field strip the Mark IV with nothing but a medical degree, and 3 arms. (and a protractor) "Vatsa matter for you!?"..

Phake A'Count

Most of my .22 handguns are revolvers, but I do have a Mark 3 Hunter and an old Beretta Jaguar. My only Beretta 9mm pistol is a 92 Brigadier, for those who feel the m9 just isn't heavy enough.

Phake A'Count

I used to have an M9A2, but I sold it. At the time I was suffering from a serious condition called being and idiot.

Adam Boyd

That was some pretty archaic thinking from Col. Cooper that you mentioned! Wow! But he also gave us the color codes of awareness and his work on the awesome 10mm was way ahead of the curve.

Matthew Kale

I've got a full size M&P22 and the mag capacity is 12 rounds. It's a great gun! Last summer picked up a Heritage Arms 22 with 6.5" barrel and that is great also. Super fun!

Andrettski

Sorry, I haven't had time to watch this yet. But I'm asking anyone about the "Red pilling Normies" UGETube vid why there isn't a comment section?

Andrettski

I absolutely have to check UGETube more often. Also we gotta get more TNP'ers over there to get more views/likes. I'm reaching out to Nutn and TD for any help.

Mark Hodges

Great review. I rock a p250-22 as a training analogue to my P320 collection.

Mike S

They make a P250-22? I didn't know that.

Steve Ouellette

I took a lot of crap for having a PT 99 in 1986. My friends liked the Taurus version better because they liked frame safety. After Lethal Weapon everyone knew I had the best pistol ever. Most of the guys who were against the M9 were in the military but hadn’t used it yet. Jeff Cooper was involved with the 10mm in an attempt to bring high capacity to more powerful rounds. When he was good he was very good. Thanks

RowdyRon

Hey gang, am I missing something, or did the "SOG Pillar with More Awesome Competitive Options" not actually post here? I was really looking forward to that one after I got the notification. Thanks.

Nancy Merrell-Robertson

I've always wanted a Beretta M9 or FS in 9mm. Now I want one in .22 LR too.

Daniel Herb

I am not a fan of the Beretta pistol formfactor...

Foghorn

Nice 22.... I was able to get a 92s from a friend.. Bought a M9A3 back in 2019... I do like the "humpless" grip better.

CincinnatiDan (Ohio)

You guys make a good pair, NF with the details and TD as the color guy.

Phake A'Count

I can't find .22 ammunition anywhere.

Douglas Pack

Great review. Thank you guys

Aaron Hine

Just joined patreon. This is my first vid. Hello to all. Thanks for the review.

Welcome! Way better than YT!
