This cool little Victorinox is full of personality. Featuring a preferred timing bezel and chrono functions, this is how you do this style of watch! The Victorinox pieces often surprise me  with their quality: check out its gold plated movement, a wonderful detail that most users would not even see.  This smaller size than I usually review will be a better fit for smallers wrists too.

Great colors and complications are shown, along with some equally excellent and even more affordable competitive options (and one not so much).

I wore a maverick gs for years. I still have it and wear it sometimes. It’s taken a beating. It has the nicest bezel action. Of any watch I have owned. It’s a very good watch with never an issues outside about 3 battery changes. I just wish it had an automatic movement.

Collecting, hoarding and EDCing watches is a black hole where you can lose your way. Its best to stay just above the event horizon where you can (barely) resist the urge to buy every chronograph that comes across the Knife Show.

I'm beginning to discover the world of after market straps. I own a couple of StrapsCo straps and I'm shopping on Barton for NATOs also. I am avoiding Hodinkee because those straps are more expensive than the watches I buy and are for the guys with a Rolex or a Tag watch. But I am really enjoying the colorations you can pair with watches. It is amazing how a good NATO with the right colors can make a watch look.

I have bought several watches which were reviewed on the Knife Show.

30 minute chronos are so much easier to read and use versus 60! This is a great looking watch!

I absolutely agree. Half the reason I tune in to the knife show is the watch review lol

My taste in watch size has been shrinking! I started out loving 50 mm and just bought a 36 mm glycine the other day, funny how the addiction goes through phases. Now I have a good spread I guess.

Never got into any chronograph type watch. I will stick with my upper end Casio's for any timer, stopwatch, etc.

Upper end Casio? Edifice? I love a lot of the edifice watches way they make them so thin light and the Bluetooth connection is nice. Huge variety as well. Or are you talking about something else?

Chronographs are wasted on me; the busy factor in an anathema. A simple timepiece with some singular flair or complication typically increases appeal. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication.

I prefer the look of the Startimer over the Maverick. That being said the price puts the Maverick above a Startimer
