I will pull out on the stops on this review. It's rare I find a watch that doesn't need some type of work to make it better.  The Chotovelli 5303 is such a specimen.  Here you'll see a Flieger (ie WW II style of pilot watch) that has perfect sizing, hands, markings, straps, flat sapphire crystal, and case. All the markings and other details are top notch. The only thing I'd really ask for is a Seiko NH34A or 4R36 auto movement...these are quartz. But I think you too can quickly forgive that for the awesomeness that is achieved.

I'll cover some two other Chotovelli high personality watches that all also impressive. All of these sell very quick and I am surprised some came back into stock.  Most are limited to just 400 pieces worldwide!

👍🇺🇸 happy 4th

It's kinda odd to see these guys get the font perfect, where Bell&Ross, a company that spends ludicrous amounts on aerobatic french jet fighters, can't use anything not bought in bulk like the rest of the pack. For real, they should be THE altimeter font guys, and they can't figure it out at all. I can't find exactly which Miyota movement these use without breaking them open, but I kinda have an idea going forward that I'll try to get a lot of my watches along certain lines for battery commonality. Seems like all my quartz stuff each takes some special, inscrutable cell!

These are sick! Who says you need to spend $12k to get an awesome timepiece? Please keep doing WRVs!!!

Josh

Awesome watch review! Stopped 5 min in and ordered the brushed stainless. You are the only watch reviewer thats sold me on watches. I believe every one I own has been a personal recommendation from you. Thank you Nutn!

I got a skinny wrist. No soup for me.

Flieger watches are a close second to field as my favorite design! Love this!

Purchased one- looks like only one left. Still wearing the Glycine GMT you recommended a few months ago. Thanks for the great review.

Paused video and used link in description to purchase. They are now sold out of that version. There are still other versions available.

still looking to pick up a sekio and or a citizen for the next watch

Tacticaldoodle

Yeah, it's a rabbit hole I'm afraid to go down, lots to pick from!

I bought a Seiko SNE331 and a Citizen AW1158-05L Eco-Drive (both out of stock now) based on Nutn's reviews. Been happy with both. The Seiko SNE329 is still available on Amazon. It's just a blue version of the SNE331.

Ecodrive I got for dad day is crazy accurate. I synced it to my work laptop and it's still within a second. If that matters to you anyway lol I think an accurate watch adds a little extra fun to it lol

TNSheep

ooo, that's a pretty one.

The Nutnfancy Project

Funny thing is the Miyotas are more robust than the Swiss Rondas...of which I've had to replace about 7 of them!

You got it dude, I will. And you're right, I can't think of a better quartz watch I'd rather strap on than these. Just perfect and hard to take off in the rotation!

Less is more. This style of minimalistic timepiece emphasizes subtle grace often lost with most cluttered brethren. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication.

Josh

Just got a Chotovelli Men's Aviator. It looks sick!
