I'm not sure Spyderco watches my knife reviews BUT it sure seems like it. I rant always about "lightening everything."  They do just that with these Sage and Tenacious variants, many is some cool colors (above)!

I've been daily carrying Spyderco knives for a few years now. A Dragonfly 2 and Endura 4. I love them. I think Spyderco does watch TNP if they are smart. Is that blue Tenacious the one that cut you? One of your highest viewed videos - Tenacious Cut.

Awesome vid! Been waiting to hear you weigh in on several of these. I’m a Spyderco loyalist for sure, and I’m def glad I scored that sweet TNP Dragonfly back a couple of December’s ago.

I love my lightweight Tenacious and Manix 2. I have an M4 Para 3 lightweight on the way ($122 at BHQ - how are they not sold out?). The texture on the FRN/FRCP is just so good, and I've never felt they weren't strong enough. The G10 versions are cool too, but so far out of 3 Spydercos purchased, I've chosen the lightweight every time.

Moe Mansour

I can't believe you asked us if we wanted a knife review 😐 The answer will always be YES.

Mike R

I actually thought they’d be a bit lighter I guess not with the steal liner. I thought maybe since it’s more of a edc knife they would go without the liner and keep the weight down. Still a cool knife I have a couple versions of the Tenacious. Please TD do more of the tuxedo versions I really want a Para 2, but would get a Tenacious version in a heart beat as well. Should’ve bought one back in the day but I wasn’t big into knife collecting back then.

I was worried for a second that I might be buying another knife, but then I saw Spyderco. Probably never buying a Spyderco, so that's a relief.

Taichung is probably one of their better factory’s. Seems like that’s where all the fancy spydies come from.

Jacob Hurst

Gotta love the tenacious. It was my first spyderco a buddy gave me. It’s strange cause it’s marked with the FBI logo and I love it. Thanks for the hard work! And sell some more spydies on your web store!!!

KRV for the WIN!

My blue Tenacious Lightweight in S35VN was just delivered last week, fell in love immediately. A little chunkier than my favorite edc Delica M390 but it’ll dominate the pocket for a while, I like the extra firepower for now

IndianaBen

Nutn I’m trying to talk myself into a Spartan Damysus. I don’t think you’ve reviewed any Spartan Blades before. Help me spend or save my money

IndianaBen

Shots fired lol. Why no Spyderco love?

Nathan P Hubsch

It's purely for second cool reasons at this point. Just like Glocks, they're well made and functional, but I just find them ugly. Spider themed stuff isn't my thing, don't like the blade shape, don't like the clip designs. All aesthetic reasons. Although, with Glock I don't like the triggers and find them overpriced. Spiderco is reasonably priced now, but I just don't like the designs.

Zachary Roberts

Love my tenacious lw, only complaint is blade centering could be a bit better.

The Nutnfancy Project

I just checked out it and it appears legit. Concerns would be handle comfort [sharp transitions?], not FFG, jimping appears worthless. Also $200 for 1095 is steep and I don't see it provides any advantage over what I've reviewed like the Ontario Spec Plus II series. It really depends how it connects to you: if a 2nd cool attraction then I get it. It also reminds me of the Junglas. But I know the steel ESEE used in that is superb...from my testing. But again it does look like a good knife, if you get here it is at BHQ Spartan Damysus: https://shrsl.com/329qj. LMK if you do.

Jeff

I was so hoping this would include the manix lightweight, but great KRV though!

Dean

I remember watching a krv when Nutn was suggesting to Spyderco to make some knives with a ffg. Eventually, SC started making Endura's and others in a ffg. I remember when you could get and endura4 ffg in frn vg10 for 66bucks on Amazon. Those were the days. I'm not the biggest SC fan, but I love a krv anytime! Thank you.

Laylit

I like the Tenacious, i have the all black frn version. I just don‘t carry it that often, because the detent is pretty much non existing. This can be a safety issue in my opinion

Matt

I have a Spyderco Manix and I love it. It stays very sharp thanks to its higher quality steel, and is super light weight for EDC. One of my best knives.

Chris Marchi

Tenacious D is jealous right now

Daniel Herb

Always been a huge fan of Spyderco, but at $125 I need a little more pop! Maybe once they have a few different colors out I will jump on this one. I really want a Sage since I don't have one yet tho.....

Brett Arnold

The sage 5 LW was too thin of a knife for me. Id like to try out the CF version just waiting to find a used one. New is way too pricey

Brian Carter

I love my CF Sage. Bought off your recommendation from an old video. Still one of my favorite blades.

Josh Baker

I picked one of these up after watching your review, such a great knife for the price. Thanks for letting us all know about it and keep up the great work.
