SOG got their act together and most of their updates are exciting. The Terminus XR is a perfect example of this. Strong, light enough, fast, and ambi, the Terminus comes in a variety of good colors (see below). Along with this xlnt EDC SOG I'll talk to you about the German Heinkel 177, a plane if perfected would have delayed the outcome of WW II!

The SOG lineup was killer in the early days of TNP: the Flash 1, Flash II, etc. They were a little loosey goosey in the lockup, but hit our pleasure neurons with their light weight, xlnt aesthetics and solid utility. It was the Flash 1 that birthed TNP, says me. It actually weighed less than zero. Still one of my favorite knives of all time yo.

I got mine a few days before this review. Lol! Mine is in OD green G10 and I love it! Great value and a perfect daily EDC.

I’ve been eyeing the terminus since it came out which coincides roughly when my addiction started. Love the blade shape and red g10 color. The action was getting big thumbs up in reviews. I’ve held off because I like to carry a blade around 3.5”. As a Canadian we are not allowed to carry pistols in our edc. Basically we can only transport them in a case to the range. Therefore a blade becomes the primary self defense implement (even though you’re not allowed to say it’s for that). Daily blade load-out is a large folder, Sheffield (thanks Todd!), and a Leatherman Squirt.

I’m loving them too. Nutn’s content is truly unique. I don’t see any others on the internet with the variety and depth.

What’s up knife bros and gals?! Just wanted to tell the group that after re-watching Nutn’s Broken Skull vid I was hard on the hunt to find one of these “must have” blades. Struggled, found one on eBay but price was too big to pull the trigger. Bummed. THEN came across a knife center vid focusing on $50 hard use knives and behold Cold Steel has re-released the pattern as the RANGE BOSS in a cheaper 4034SS steel with super grippy FRN, same length, same thickness, 3.4 oz. OD, FDE, Black handle options. PS - Drop Point Voyagers out now too! Got a large on order ready to pull service in the BOK. ✌🏼y’all

I own a few SOG's and gotta admit, none of them have ever been in my EDC rotation. I think because all the locks on them? The AEGIS I know I would but it's got such a nice black coated blade I don't wanna scratch it all up. Maybe my Trident and Trident Elite would make good BOK knives?

I got this SOG a few months back. It is my primary EDC and I like it. I am not a knife expert at all so very glad to hear Nutn approves!

I have a little side the side wobble on my blade. Is that anything to be concerned about and is there any way to correct that?

Play with the tightness in the pivot screw. Usually requires a T8 driver or something like that to adjust. Make it tighter till the wobble goes away and the action is still smooth. You can also BLUE locktite the pivot screw to make sure it doesn’t back out.
