Interesting options from SOG. I'm patiently waiting for a TNP edition of the Manix 2 Lightweight to complete my Spyderco TNP special edition set :-) Sure would go nice with my TNP Dragonfly and Delica!

I carried the original Pentagon for two years. Then I carried the sog spec elite ii for 4 years. Great knives. I bought the Pentagon xr about a year ago and have carried it exclusively since. It does loosen up. I love the knife. The clip attachment (on mine) tends to back off and get loose. I think a bit of lock tight would remedy it but I just procrastinate and tighten it up. My hand are slightly smaller so the handle doesnt seem to bug me. Would highly recommend.

Awesome. As far as the 4Con Pro2A LE guys, yes we're (at least in my agency) still talking about lights and knives. And armor. And guns. It's definitely something that the newer, younger guys are into. We are definitely passing around knives and lights in the roll call room and car-to-car.

I have an open relationship with my knives. I date SOG, Spiderco, Honey Badger, CRKT, Benchmade, etc., etc. The same could be said of my watches. Loved the short KRV, but when you've got comedy gold like TD you need to elongate (yes, I said elongate) the KRV giving TD his own segment where he farts in an Austrian accent while complaining about his woke ex-girlfriends.

I thought that the SOG trident was the coolest knife ever when I was little, but their ultra-tacticool aesthetic has kind of lost my interest. Still good stuff though. I don't understand the deep carry style clip halfway up the handle, I feel like they could have gone with a more robust and simple clip with a similar carry depth, like an Endura.

I'm always in for a KRV with TD. True confessions - never has a SOG passed though my door. No particular reason beyond other designs catching more interest when I am buying knives.

Glad to see SOG listening to the community and putting out some thoughtful blades. Tactical commercials gotta go because they will never be as cool as Lynn Thompson Cold Steel (or better designs honestly).

Totally understand. Their new stuff is better though. This Pentagon is ok but I wouldn't buy it.

use a black light or uv light on your watch it really boosts the loom!
