I checked out a couple of these at Gunnies a few months ago. They’re pretty sweet. If my budget would have been bigger I’d have left there with my first AK.

I find the AK platform enjoyable to shoot, but I wish I had bought an import 5.45 AK74 before they disappeared. They seem hard to find now, and very expensive when they occasionally do. Thanks for the review, Nutn!

Bring on the AK’s! I’m still rocking my RAS-47. I’ve built my entire “chipmunk eradication” system around it. Complete with body armor to protect myself from the high velocity acorns. 7.62x39 is a great anti-chipmunk round! It blows the lungs right out of their tiny bodies! I’ve also got to wear noise canceling headphones to protect my ear drums from the chipmunks annoying Christmas music while I take them out with single shots using iron sights at 800 yards!

YEAH, another AK GRV. Two of my AK's have the Magpul handguard. I'll give a strong recommend for the VG6 Epsilon muzzle device, they are fantastic. Have the VG6 on 5 rifles(2 AK and 3AR's) Strike Industries makes a good grip, it's on my WASR 10.

I’m a single platform AR guy at the moment. Still need another quality AR for my inventory. But when that’s done an AK, a Garand, and Springfield 1903, are on my want list.

I have a MAK90 and my gf has a milled polytech….. I hate her so much 😆 jk…. That lucky bitch. We pop in the Romanian drums sometimes and it looks like a Chicago typewriter lol.

I do wonder whether the AK platform will be sustainable in the (near?) future if as you say nutn ammo availability becomes problematic... I don't have an ak mostly because I can't justify a new intermediate caliber platform when a 556 ar does the job well enough. Next rifle platform is a SAPR in 308. It will serve the 200-800 yd range and be useful for mid size game hunting. Waiting on the Faxon match heavy fluted barrel to come back in stock to go with some Aero Precision kit a got a bit ago. That will be my winter project :)

Hey Guys ! I am new to Patreon. But I am glad to be here. I can't wait to finish this review all the way through with some coffee. Although Nuttn given your good review on the PSA AK GF3 , could you go over the PSA AK GF5-E I am wondering how accurate that FN barrel will group and the alg trigger. They are under $1500 so I am thinking about grabbing that or a PSA ak 104 GF4

Thank you for more AK reviews, Colonel. Ammunition had always been its weak link in the US, but there may be light at the end of the tunnel. 6 months ago, PSA was looking to buy the machinery necessary to produce steel-cased ammo in the US. It made sense, given their commitment to the AK platform in the US market.

Great AK video. My brother is a com bloc collector and had told me to avoid VSKA because trunnion was cast (yes he is AK elitist). Sounds like maybe they changed to forged or he was wrong? I see VSKAs for $600 pretty regular so if it’s for what I’m seeing in video that’s outstanding. I have a Zastava MPAP bulged trunnion with all the forging and chrome lining but it was also $999 (and a deal at that time—most had em at $1200).
