This is the kind of review I was looking for and didn't find...anywhere. A real user review on the Yamaha Wolverine side by side. I saw promotional reviews from loaner vehicles from the company.  Here you'll see the Wolverine in hard action over a period of three years. Trying to decide which video makes it and which doesn't was hard. Our little Wolverine X4 XTR has been on many many adventures.

I'll cover all the important points of the Wolverine product: value, terrain performance, ergos, suspension, power, durability, styling, wheels, etc.

We call it a mountain golf cart; we haven't found a place it can't take us yet. And though it's compact it carries passengers and cargo well, it seems bigger than it is. It's never let us down and continues its hard service in TNP year after year.

Wolverine Side-by-Side Review: Best in Class

When those thing came out say...20 years ago???, I worked at a wildlife refuge that had one of these. I forgot the brand but it was green, and not John Deer. Anyway that machine was insanely impressive. We drove through stands of saplings that some might call trees and over down trees that were twice the ground clearance of the machine. So if you ever find yourself facing a barrier in a side by side, humor me and attempt to go through or over whatever the barrier is. The machine can do things that look impossible.

This is awesome! Someday, I'd like to get the Honda Pioneer 1000-5 since it seats 5 and has a DCT transmission instead of the CVT that are prone to belt failure. This Wolverine XT4 has worked well in the project. Looking forward to this video.

I have a 2008 Yamaha rhino that has been in the family for 10 years. No maintenance. To my knowledge not even an oil change. Crashed by kids. Left outside much of that time. Not one issue. It will fire up after months outside covered in ice. It’s like American cars they mostly suck compared to Japanese. Polaris vs Yamaha same thing

Would be cool to see a walkthrough of the Wolverine survival kit (sneakpeek in another vids if I remember right), POU discussion and so forth since you can go heavier on the firepower side since its vehicle-based.

Robert Avery

Really looking forward to this one

Could only watch part of it now. I will see rest later. Are you going to hook mounts for a camera or camera's so don't have to hold it?

Great review! I’m not in the market for such a vehicle. In PA there’s not much need for it. I love the scenery in your videos. Thanks!!!!

Engrossing and entertaining UTV review. The scenic vistas combined with cogent commentary made for a fun filled, feature length production. Thank you for the continued effort and dedication.

Great review. I’m hoping I can get a side by side soon for use on our land in the Missouri Ozarks. I need one that seats at least 6 though. We’ve got a bunch of kids! It would be great for getting around and working on our property. Much better than my Ford Excursion. Our property has a lot of hills, rocks and water crossings. And there aren’t many places that I can get to in the truck. But a side by side would get there no problem.

I own two Rangers. One is a three-seater. One is a six-seater. I mainly use them for work in developing a 100+ acre property and just getting around on rough, bulldozed access roads. I like the bed that holds lots of gear and the smooth ride on all-terrain. I've had the three-seater for eight years and the six-seater for 5 years. Both have been relatively trouble-free. I would highly recommend them even though they are getting more expensive all the time.

I have the honda pioneer with the quick flip seats. I'd highly recommend getting the 4 seat model without having to have a machine 20 feet long!

The Nutnfancy Project

I am blessed with this scenery and I seek it out as much as possible. Thank you Steve, great hearing from you

The Nutnfancy Project

Indeed. Before you ever get something like this make sure you have a good place to run it. Thanks Hop.

The Nutnfancy Project

I had filmed this before the 1000cc had come out; I would rec' the Wolverine RMAX at the higher power level. Fuel economy will be about the same but higher power, always a welcome addition. It comes in some cool colors like that blue above.

Super Bob

Sweet. Love me a feature length

Super Bob

Mrs. Nutn tearin it up

John Johnson

so did you get a dog that looks the same for continuity sake ..? kind of like the two Darrens on Bewitched

Robert Plested

Nice video! Are there any things too seek and avoid on a used model?

Joshua Pulliam

It’s a dream come true! We are very blessed to have it.

RECALL

Excellent review! (...standard) If you do a Malibu boat review next my wife and family would love it! I've already watched the zodiac adventures and it's given her ideas

Yeah live there too. Am a displaced (by choice) yankee. Agree they grow good rock down here.
