KABAR all the way !!

Those knives look good and the F-18 reference was something I get the feels for. I won’t say it’s the best ever. But I was an Intermediate level power plants mechanic for the F-18 about 13 years ago. Working on aircraft and being military was 2 of my life checklist items since I was a kid.

Just watched this a second time. Good review.

Love the Kobun, but really not a fan of the glass fibre synthetic sheaths, these really dull the edge of the blades. Easy enough to get a replacement boltaron or kydex sheath, however the from factor of the CS sheath is a significant part of the knife’s attraction for me.

Those look like they could fit in as fun kitchen knives.. I've used the moraknife in the kitchen for several years. Not a great tomato slicer but it's handy for most kitchen duty for me

Not SAWC

You can have the Kyoto, Kobun and Tanto as a kitchen knives set lol

Cooking with cold steel, swedish chef will prepare a glorious meal!

I hope they make a Kobun sized Kyoto. Or a least make a larger Kyoto with a 4" blade and 4" handle. I have both. I find the Kyoto too small and will probably sell it or give it away. I like the Kobun but I don't have confidence in the thin handle.

BadgerTails

Got me on the Safe Maker, plus a BlackFox Chiudibili from Italy!? Yup. Sharp contagion herein.....

Steve Feeser

I like that little blade and handle for carry. But fixed blades can’t be concealed in PA. Oh well…

I’ve been hoping there would be a KRV on this one!

Great old school KRV. You made me want a Kobun big time.

That watch looks cool, kinda has a space suit look.

Fun review! I saw it and said man I haven’t really been bitten by the knife bug yet… then I looked at my dump tray and saw at least 4 Nutnfancy influenced purchases lol guess it’s growing on me

Racing Psychosis

I like them, but I like the mini-Leatherneck better than the kyoto or kaboom

I asked my wife and she said the shorter Kyoto reminded her of her ex. She rec'd the longer Recon Tanto because I've done her much better.

I'm a fan of Cold Steel. Bit for fixed blades, I have my personal favorite USMC Kabar, followed by a Glock fixed blade and an Estes heavy carry blade in bright green.
