Here I'll cover some newer pieces in the super fun Swatch "Big Bold" series; manly but lightweight watches that will be different than anything in your collection. Swatches are awesome! Don't fully give up the watch show, just do it a few times a year when you feel inspired. One thing I've learned using chronographs for years is that the 30 minute timers are much easier to use than a 60. I can actually read the 30 min sub dial versus sometimes guessing on the 60 if it's been 3 minutes or 4 elapsed.

It will be a sad day when the TNP watch show gets canceled 😞

Jayson Fraser

Every time I wear a black watch, my wife says “that looks too tactical” haha If the watch show ends I’ll be sad, but I’m really glad that I got out of it what I did, especially that I learned how to have fun with inexpensive watches and not worry about having the most expensive or impressive pieces. Thanks for that lesson Nutn!

Willie Everett

I'm generally a fan of green, so most of my watches mostly green.

Nathan Simms aka Darkpriest

I buy some of the Casio's and the Chinese Knockoffs you post. But any watch over 100 bucks is way out of what I'm going to spend on a watch, it's the most expensive part of my outfit usually. (I think I have 1 tie that is 110 dollars)

David Threadgold

I brother ran a surf shop in San Diego a long time ago and i would always have a ne Swatch watch with something cool. They never lasted more than a month back then but sure looked awesome.

Todd

I really like the watch reviews. My first cool watch was a Breitling Chrono Superocean that my wife bought for me. Since watching you, I picked up two Invicta‘s, two Swatch Big Bolds and two deep blues. You’re right, they’re just really fun to switch out. Thanks, Nutn!

David Threadgold

I wish i would of kept a few in the box so I could sell you them now. Oh well that’s life

David Threadgold

Actually the watch videos are how I got started watching you on YouTube about seven years ago

sean

Another great aspect of wearing a watch is NOT having an excuse to look at a smartphone every 10 min and be constantly distracted. More watch use and less smartphone use is a quality of life improvement.

Bluegill097

Nutn I think I could cope if you still did quick imbedded watch reviews in other vids. Just quick discussion about what you are wearing maybe? That would help my soul if the WRV s get cancelled

David Threadgold

That’s true until I just got my first Garmin watch and it fricken vibrates every time I get a message from smart phone. I know I can turn it off but thought it was funny seeing your post.

David Threadgold

Do the new Swatch watches last a long time. One watch Nutn reviewed I bought and it went dead less then a year later but it was cheapo watch

Maxreverse

NUTN you gotta keep the watch reviews coming. How about the Apple Ultra?

hoplite ⚔️

I’ve got 2 green pieces. Wore one today. You’re right, they are fun!

hoplite ⚔️

🤞🏼 fingers crossed the watch show survives, but if not this suggestion makes sense. Definitely still want to hear “by the way, the watch for the review is…” with a mini review so we can still go hunting for fun pieces.

I love these watches. Have been thinking about getting the blue NASA one you showed or the lime green “fresh squeeze”. You’ve definitely hooked me on fun color watches that make the EDC more enjoyable. Was rocking a green bezel MDV106 today with a leather strap you gave me. Made me happy all day long. Pretty sure I’ve watched every WRV. Casios, GShocks, Orient with Merit Badge, Mondaine, and hopefully a Swatch soon. I’m glad you brought the watch content to TNP. It’s definitely brought a lot of fun to the daily loadout. Thanks Nutn!!

Mr. Bill

My watches color coordinate with what I wear each day. Blue, Black or Tan/brown. And one junker for dirty work.

Downtrodden

Bold watch colors are a lot of fun! My favorite watch use is the dive bezel as a cooking timer. I work in Finance and watch hierarchy is still a real thing with the senior guys. A micro-brand or a custom Seiko is great for drawing attention away from the Breitling/Tudor/Omega/Rolex/Patek competition. Swatch is a gateway drug! My rotation is full but I love giving them as presents.

Zack Harris

With a family can’t do a big collection, but funky is fun and white watches r not chic watches … make for cool stormtrooper or tuxedo vibes. Ps How do we send msg?

Chris Kales

Nutn, I love the colors you pick when mod-ing your watch hands. It always pops! I sometimes like the traditional watches (like the islander Aviator watch you reviewed) but definitely like the orange & bright faced watches that you bring to tabletop. -Update, Just ordered the orange skeleton version.

Seeker Keyl

I feel sad at the potential of the watch show going away. I get it, don't get me wrong, but nonetheless... I will enjoy the remaining ones you have in the hopper, for sure. I will say I never wore watches at all prior to watching your watch show. Now I feel naked without one! I don't have many, but the ones I got were definitely inspired by you. Thanks.

Moe Mansour

I hope the watch reviews stick around

David Goodridge

You're making me feel stupid watching your watch videos. I'm on disability with my failing heart. Doctor says I might live another 4 years. But still I donate $10 a month. But lately it seems all you do is whine.

WILLIAM MEYER

Nut'n I don't buy all your recommendations but ALWAYS watch the, uh, watch reviews. Have a couple of the Casio's you've reviewed. Am pretty unyielding in my preferences, metal bands & battery operated, which exclude autos. Prefer changing batteries to fixing the inherent time inaccuracies with automatics. Still love the wrv's of them though. Understand limited resource allocation but will be bummed to see them go away.

robert mccrory

sick. i'm getting the blue one. the big crooked numbers confuse me. and i watch all but bike videos open your mind, i hadn't had a watch in years but some of these are nice.

Carl Bailey

Yeah, I have pocket watches too.

Jonathan-James

I was so excited to view the recent vids today, but super bummed to hear the watch show might fade away. It’s something I enjoy very much, and it wasn’t something I even new to look for till I started viewing your watch reviews. Really enjoy the product. Hope at least some level of the watch content remains. Appreciate your work Nutn.

Hold Fast Joe

The whining does suck, most tubers would love a quarter of the views he gets. I'm not hitting the buy either, but I enjoy seeing them! Gotta fill the gas tank, buy food, and save something. I see a pup in your profile! Dogs are so much fun. What kind is it? Mine is a pitbull, good with kids, protects the house, just hates all other dogs so I have to drive her to cemetery or odd places to walk and run.

Sean Durso II

Nutn never give up on the Watch Show! I was a naysayer but was converted to watch collecting by the freaking cool ass timepieces you bring to the table!

WPSPSS

WRVs 4 life!!!! Don’t give up on us nutn!!!

DudeDudeDude

Yeah I have watched many of your watch reviews on YT but these swatches just do not do anything for me.

Ruben Lopez

Hey Nutn! I do like the fun colors and the white is not a chick color! Also I think I got 3yrs under my belt but if not no worries!!! Keep up the great work!

DirtyPhil

It takes time to build a viewership thought right? Especially with such a diverse content flow- it is a nice break to all the “society is doomed” videos - the WRVs are a nice escape - I may not buy what you post but that is not a reflection on quality of the content - I know for me personally I would love some insight from the Mrs Nutnfancy on any watches she wears or would like to perhaps receive as gifts? I need some recs so that my wife doesn’t cringe when she hears this playing in the background

Harold Galen McPheron

Love the watch reviews!!!! through you watch reviews, I have found several "perfect" watches for me, which I wouldn't have without you!!!

Paul Kwiatkowski

I learn-t to have fun with watches from the WRVs and would be sad if they go away. Improvise, Adapt and Overcome - Do what you have to do. I am with you.

Trevor V. V.

I don't mind the watch content. Been here since 2021; and on YouTube since about 2010.

Matt

Love the value watch reviews nutn. Can't tell you how happy my stormtrooper white Smael makes me. I paid 16 bucks for it! LOL.

Jesse (Sphinx)

Love the watch reviews--watch all of em! Rocking a Glycine Airman today with a full lume face and OD green nato strap that I partially blame you for!

Dusty Sabedra

Don’t give up on the watches Nutn! Especially since you enjoy the watch culture, if anything do it for your enjoyment and it will all fall in place. I have had my ups and downs as far as my watch excitement goes. I definitely caught the bug again and have purchased 4 watches in the last 30 days, 2 G-shocks, 1 Tissot and just yesterday an awesome Longines diver. In fact I would love to gift you and beautiful Invitca dive watch to show my appreciation. Let me know where I can send. Keep rocking
