Made entirely by "2A Armament" CNC in Idaho, we extensively tested this "Balios Lite BLR16" rifle. This is a ultra quality lightweight focused factory built AR and it ain't cheap. But I've used this and will use it in the future for competitive options for guns that shoot a lot worse than this one and cost even more. TD is here, farting of course, and he'll help me break down the high attention to detail of this Balios Lite AR. For instance even the handguard has milled out Pic rail to save weight. Lots of infield shoot testing is shown with a bonus bit shown at the end. We found the BLR16 Lite to deliver on its price tag and dominate other high end ARs in both SAWC and accuracy.

Compact scope solution, the Swampfox Arrowhead: Check out the 1-10x option, https://shrsl.com/2ncni. 1-8x https://shrsl.com/2ncnn

Oh I'm so hyped I've been waiting for this review ever since you did the whisdey

McNavy

At one point, I lived so close to 2A Armament in Boise and didn't even realize that I passed by their shop every day on my way to work. Kind of wished that I had figured that out earlier, maybe stopped by to look at their builds. Glad to hear that people still take pride in their work.

Ace Invasive

I bought one as my first rifle 6 years ago for SAWC.

Max Roberts

Was waiting for this since you mentioned it in some other reviews! Thank you!

Bill The Broken

Lets goo! Been waiting for this one. Love 2A - have a Palouse Lite build using all their stuff and love it. 4.7 lbs no mag. And the receiver set is FORGED (thought of you w that) and more than half the cost of the balios. Thank you for reviewing this brand - even though I already have their stuff and LOVE THEM it is always awesome to hear ur thoughts as I value your opinions more than any other voice it this space. Thank you for all you do!

David Threadgold

I have to watch this but just from photo is that a strike industries but stock. I have one a love it

David Threadgold

Nope I don’t think it is just watched beginning lol. I got mine for future gun

The Nutnfancy Project

Thank you Bill. Great choice you made there. Seems like a great company and I wish 2A all the best.

Hold Fast Joe

That's great accuracy for that kind of barrel! Everything on that rifle looks good! A light weight option makes a lot of sense. Even more impressive that it ran the Russian steel. I would love a pof to get the heat sink.

Patrick Richards

Hey Nutn, maybe I missed you talking about it, or maybe you haven’t talked about it but I have checked periodically for the past couple of months on Bigcartel store and it says maintenance. Are you no longer using bigcartel for tnp gear? Just wondering, thank u

Cyborg009

Finally! I love mine.

DuginIN

Lightweight machined from billet is impressive. Good to see Jardine participating.

Chad Sanders

Glad to hear it is both lightweight and reliable

Mark MacBayne

Thanks for the awesome GRV. You have been dropping some great content. Not that it's surprising. Loved the review on the Ruger Wrangler. Your southern accent was hilarious. I'm a value minded guy and have two PSA ARs, a 16" and an 18". Both have been reliable for me. The 18" is even impressively accurate for the price point. That said, I don't mind paying a little more if the value is there. You got me thinking I might want to save up a little and get a Balios Lite. Thanks for all the great videos.

Elijah Ballard

He doesn’t have product at the moment

Bernal

👍on the DuraMags over here, working well and high 2nd cool on the color options!

Gerald King

more ar 15 videos please

Jordan Parker

Lightweight, reliable, and accurate. Sounds like a great option! Excited to see TD AND Jardine in one video

Patrick Richards

Ok thank u. Just wasn’t sure if that site was in-op now or what.

Glad for the review you’ve been hinting at for how long 😆😆😆. When you see quality it comes through and the funny thing is the WWSD issues you’ve encountered have been common place in my local gun shops. Companies are to ether step up or be left in the dust in their QC and sadly RUGER in my experience hasn’t kept their barrel QC to par last few times in my experience, bad chamber in a friends AR556 non free float with steel case it got stuck then a coworker’s was shooting 2.5” groups or more with match grade ammo using a 4x trij while my own non free float with ball a retro with wood furniture & carry and shot under 1” with ball ammo.

BadgerTails

Yes! Doodle in da haus!!! Finding zee balances is wery impotant wis zee weights and measures! [ Just did a Patreon inventory, thinned the herd of slackers and put extra donation to TnP ] Excellent GRV as usual! Can you imagine another year of FJB, and we'll be watching reviews of flashlights in earnest, weighing out tail caps and measuring bulb velocities!? GOA or NRA, go get it done! UP your TnP $$$ as well!! Drive on!

Andrettski

I cannot lie I was very tempted to ffwd to the end to see if you're keeping this for the project and your systems. Back to the vid, past fart part.

Why even leave all that picatinny on the guard (see the Aero P Atlas S-1 style) it can be taken off with minimal grinding. no carbon fiber lower?? (JMT and Tenn. Arms!! preferred) I prefer to strip all that off and just use small modular rail sections where or when needed.... oh, and I''l make a lower out that 2x4 too if I have to, so FJB and FATF

DudeDudeDude

Between the fart/crapped pants and the confused look TD did the best Biden impersonation I have ever seen.

Cyborg009

2A Armament is no more so that’s a keeper. The company was acquired by Nemo, its neighbor.
