I'm also the cook at my house. I appreciate these videos too help me improve my cooking skills and learn new recipes. The canned soups are so high in sodium. It's nice to see a homemade recipe. I had a busy night tonight so I'm making french toast right now as I watch this.

Give us some venison recipes! I do like chicken soup too. I'll give it a try, thanks. Oh, I read that onions and garlic causes hemolysis in dogs, possibly leading to anemia. Just an FYI

I don’t think dogs are supposed to have onions lol but I had a lab growing up and she ate anything and nothing ever happened… an iron stomach! If Nutn had a restaurant it’d be on my bucket list to eat there.

I think you were right using low sodium broth because Lawry's, McCormick Steak Seas. and bouillon all salt as the #1 ingredient.

No licorice(black or red) for dogs either. A friend lost a dog from giving it that and chocolate and raisins. The Vet told him but it was after the fact.

Looks good. The only thing I do differently is cook a whole chicken for a tasty broth. A old Chinese lady who ran a restaurant said all they used for broth was the hundreds of chicken bones and spices in a huge pot so that’s the only reason I do it that way. But your awesome soup will be on my menu. I am a soup connoisseur lol

She left a little meat on the bones. But remember she ran a restaurant so not all of have access to that many bones. Lol a Mexican helper kika who worked for me taught me to use whole chicken so you can make chicken soup and killer chicken enchiladas with tomatillos for a green sauce with hand picked chicken from every nook and cranny of chicken lol good cooking

I can't help but notice that you still have the same stove (top) that I had from about 1991 till last year, when the oven elements went ... kind of on fire, and my wife didn't want to look at that oven anymore... I probably could have repaired it still. But sometimes you lose the argument. It lived a long life. Eventually I wanted to get rigged up for a gas stove, but that apparently makes me a neanderthal. I thought onions could lock up a dogs kidneys... maybe not.
