This is another home run from S&W believe it or not. In many ways, the company as I'll discuss is really leading the pack these days for xlnt guns we want. Like S&W and others, I wish Canik would come out with a 9MM PCC. Maybe Walther too.

That olight is very nice, got one when they had it for sale around 99 pre release. It gets a lot of use in my garage. I almost got a standard shop light, glad I didn't. The marauder mini is very bright and ya the area flood in it is crazy. Oh ya, that gun looks good too lol

Dude, dude, dude, dude! I think the competition for this gun is the 365X Macro or PDP F. However, the Equalizer dominates on price and (likely) magazine availability. Game changer? Yeah, I think so.

I got zero interest in this model or the ES models. With that said I have recommended them to several folks that lack handstrength or are a novice and are not comfortable with a weapon without a safety.

Interesting, I ran a 9 ProSeries in IPSC/USPSA for a few rounds and that hinged trigger was a NO GO for me, I have to wear gloves for duty work and always therefore shoot with those duty gloves on; that hinged trigger snagged on gloves, the Burwell drop in fix was great but then it's a NO GO pistol for Duty! 23 oz competitor to the G19? Dang?! Catskin IWB holsters!? YES! Drive on TnP!

Good video Nutn! Always have a good time. I am a big fan of S&W handguns. Not sure the Equalizer is right for me, but I have a few family members and friends who could do well with it. Maybe one of these days I'll get to try one out and form a better opinion. I was also a big fan of the EZ the couple of times I shot it, so same principle but with more capacity is great!

equalizer is pretty nice shooter. Trigger could be a bit better, but it's a self defense pistol.

uhhhh, thats the follower for the magazine....... The ergo's on this gun are fantastic as well as the weight and just overall feel of it. Plus it nails it on second kind of cool. Your loss, more for everyone else.

EZ is fantastic. This is nice too. Even with my larger hands I struggled none shooting it. This gun looks much prettier than the EZ as well. hahaha

Ah didn't notice it had bright red/orange follower in the mag. And its no loss for me, don't really give a shit about this pistol or their boxcar named pistol.

Hey Nutn, heard you reference the M&P 12 when talking about the other oddball stuff that Smith & Wesson is putting out these days and the cryptic statement "standby". Could we possibly be getting a review and/or comparison to the KSG soon? Been considering it as a home defense option but wanted to hear your thoughts and wisdom on it. Keep cranking, McNavy out.
