USA USA USA! That's the cry from some buyers. "Give me more US produced options Nutnfancy" Here you go: the American Service Knife review. It is American made and that means much more expensive. Like 600% more expensive than a comparable Swiss made Victorinox Spartan utility knife. Nevertheless we'll take a look at this simple ASK knife, comment on the better steel, it's versatility, value, and looks. Buy up, using the link below if you dare!

Want USA? Here It Is: ASK Pocket Knife

Agreed. $240 is a no go. Way better options at 1/2 or even 1/4 the price.

Rogue Weasely

I never bought one myself after our talk about it. I am still rocking my victorinox cadet/pioneer!

Andrettski

Nah on the ASK, that's why I carry a folder and then use my Leatherman for utility stuff. And for those of you who don't have a Mini- Marauder shame on you.

BadgerTails

Sitting on my SpyderCo Chief pre-order, Made in USA, love it but I know what you're saying....

Todd Strelka

Nice knife, but I'd never spend that much on a knife like that. I'm happy with my Victorinox Cadet ALOX.

Chris Cripe

The MKM Malga might be a good alternative to this for someone that wants something that isnt a Victorinox. 115 bucks and the blade is m390. The only miss is one of the tools is a hobo fork pretty useless.

Colostomybag

I just don’t buy that it cost that much. I can buy a leatherman for like 120 bucks that does way more. For 240 bucks you could get a beautiful Geat Eastern Cutlery knife that is a real keepsake or just save the money and get a victoranox.

Nice knife. I would be more interested if they skipped the really fancy steel and went with something decent and practical but kept the cost down.

DudeDudeDude

Blade HQ has some nice Swiss army designs from time to time. My favorite being a few models that have a military motif complete with Memphis belle style pinup girl.

Aaron Burnett

And yeah, SD9VE with an Apex trigger kit and some Talon grips….good to go.

Plumber Angelo

Damn dude, $240?? I appreciate the supporting U.S.A. workers and stuff, but sheesh. Way to stick it in and break it off. Pass pass pass.

Sean Durso II

I saw this in my SMKW catalog and loved it. Price turned me off. Thanks for the KRV!

Lee Harrell [W5GCF]

Hard pass. I'd rather buy 8 Swiss made knives and give some out as gifts.

CBlaster 1

Looking forward to Olight marauder review.

Christopher Davis

Cool knife, but my mouth literally fell open when you quoted the price. Dang.

Outrider950

Cost might be attributed to the smaller scale of mfr.

I’ll take the Swiss made for way cheaper thanks. On vacation in Greece using my Sheffield and Leatherman Juice CS4 to get some maintenance and repairs done around the Mother-in-laws house. TNP for the win!!

Foghorn

Not sure I'd like a sharp chisel on a wrench that looks like it could slip..

Daniel Herb

I feel like the TNP cadet is the way to go for this style of knife since it has upgraded components and still much cheaper than the ASK pocket knife.

Lee

That watch is sick!

Thatdudeluke

I like American made, but no, I’m good, my Wenger Basic Issue is still perfect and the victorinox pioneer knives are just as good
