Make one with the white hands in a none operator color way and I’ll buy. Things I like over the deep blue on my wrist right now: Lighter weight than my s.s., lower profile crown that’s not at 3 o’clock making it even more low profile. Things I don’t like: Black is boring and the face is cleaner and easier to read on my t100 auto stainless.

After watching your Deep Blue Lefty review in late August I followed the link. Decided it wasn’t for me, but was looking for an automatic. Found the watch in this review plus other versions. I bought the Daynight Diver PC Tritium Automatic. Black/White Bezel - Black /White Dial. 7 color Tritium tubes. Not stealth but I was looking for the pop. $179.96 with $9.99 shipping is an excellent value. The link wouldn’t let my order process so I went around it. I did leave a comment in my order that I was there because of Nutnfancy. I’ve had it for three weeks and love it.

A couple decades ago when I was in my teens we were visiting my aunt on the Big Island, and while we were out snorkeling I had that terrifying experience of literally bumping into one of those sea turtles. I don't *think* it was as big as the one in your video, but it scared the shit out of me and I probably swam twice as fast as I'd ever swam before to get back to shore.

Zuto is the nato style strap without the second piece of nylon coming under the watch. Basically just a single piece of webbing threaded through the pins. NATO threads though the pins and then through the rings on the second piece of nylon. The two piece is like a normal watch band that just pins the two pieces into the lugs.

Nerd alert 🤓: My understanding, having worked with industrial radiography, is that T25 or T100 is the amount of millicuries the tube gave off when it was created. Which is directly related to the quantity of tritium inside the tube. The half life of tritium is the same no matter what (about 12 years). So a larger volume will last longer. I.e. will stay brighter longer. But you can't actually see tritium decay. What we see is a beta particle interacting with phosphorescent paint. A bigger tube with more paint should be brighter since it's absorbing a larger amount of the energy given off by the decay. In other words, a T100 after 12 year will have the same amount of tritium as a T50 that's brand new. However, because the vile has more phosphorescent paint it can take advantage of more beta particles. In theory, a 12 yr old T100 would still be slightly brighter than a new T50. If the paint is low quality it might have poor brightness regardless of how much tritium. And lots of times the paint actually burns out before the tritium.

Just ordered one! I really liked the blacked out with the blue and yellow tubes but the code wouldn't work with it. I ordered the green/orange but sent them an email to ask. Doesn't hurt! This'll be my first diver and first automatic so I'm excited. Also, my wife bought me a torgoen T10 with a blue face for our 10 year anniversary and I absolutely love it. No chapter ring, really simple, swiss movement. I love it. 👍 Let me know if you want to review one cuz I'll send you mine!

Deep Blue makes such great watches. They really need to work on their model names though...it's getting hard to keep track of the numbered models. It's like Smith & Wesson pistols back in the day. 😂

Love the looks of this watch. I wasn't a watch guy before TNP. I had a G shock that performed day in and out, but nothing to exciting to look at. I was missing out on the fun of changing up my edc gear. Now, I enjoy collecting dive watches of various colors to change it up. Don't worry, my g shock still gets plenty of use at work.

Sorry I'll never buy another Deep Blue watch. I bought the Day/Night T-100 last year with the Nutnfancy discount code ($100) last year. The stem on the watch broke 11 months after purchase. I've tried emailing and calling Deep Blue several time but never got a response. There is zero customer service. I shipped it off to a watch repair shop but they couldn't fix it because the stem diameter was so small (custom part). Also the broken stem and crown got lost in shipping. So now I have a nice looking paper weight.
