It was actually a real sword. He said it was very heavy. And code wasn’t really related. It’s just that this is part of a cultural initiative and code was for Chuseok so they’re going to be wearing traditional Korean clothes for both. Just a coincidence. The concept for Code actually came from the making behind for Walking on water when Han assigned everyone roles in the Joseon dynasty like it was his own fanfiction. 😂 I think it was filmed on a soundstage or some other small venue. There’s only a few hundred people there maybe.

The performance was in front of the President of Korea. It is a cultural initiative. You'll catch them bowing to him mid performance. They also met him (again).

I really loved this performance. Just SKZ showing off their strengths. No big stage theatrics. No extra dancers. But they still fill the stage and demand your attention. ❤️

This was soooooooo HYPE!!!! LOVED IT!!!!! They reallt do make every stage their own! The PPX is the South Korean Presidential Commission for Popular Culture Exchange an event to promote K-Culture overseas, JYP has been made a minister and co-chair of the Korean cultural exchange program. I believe these perfromances were to open the event along with Le Sserafim and the K-Tigers who also perfromed a cool taekwondo performance to 'S-Class' between the SKZ speeches and 'Ceremony' ... it is a shame that this edit cut it out. I am guessing the guest list was pretty exclusive for this event, with the President and other dignitaries there, they probably had to be vetted like 100 times. But at least they all got special lightsticks for the event lol ... I watched a Korean reactor comment that this is one of the largest 'cultural' events aired on Korean national TV this year, and it is really important .. lots of older generations tuning in that might not have heard of Stray Kids or be very familiar with them ... so pretty cool ... reaching out to new potential Stays especially in Korea. Every arrangement I have ever heard of 'Thunderous' is incredible.. I think this is definietly up there with the Christmas version they did in 2022 for me.... it just goes so well with Epic themes.
