Glad you enjoy this episode even with the spoiler. Many RM fans always love these kind of episodes even with no guests, you can see their chemistry shows up throughout the episode. Here is some TMI facts that not many people was known: as you can see, this episode was shorter than the usual episodes, that’s because this “Battle for strongest RM” wasn’t actually plan initially in this episode, fans believed that Heo Young Saeng (who was seen injured) was gonna be the guest in this episode for his album promotion but had to drop out because of an injury so it’s probably a last minute change thing. Anyway, the reception for this episode and this type of name tag ripping was really good, that’s why we see many different kind of games with name tag ripping later on for years. It’s the signature of Running Man. Speaking of next episode with IU (and also Shin Bongsun who had appeared as a guest before), it’s a very long episode as a 2 episodes combined into one. The reason of that is because the program “Heroes” (which both IU and Bongsun were members there) that aired after Running Man was cancelled/finished so Running Man became longer to fill in the slot before the new show aired.

Appreciate the heads up about the IU episode, and thanks for the insight as always, the first thought I had while doing this episode is "this is suspiciously short" lol so thanks for explaining why! Always appreciate your comments!

- This episode is very good. Being a huge fan of the Monday Couple, I'm glad both made it to the finals of the game. - All the best of the best episodes are very good anyway. - As for Suk-jin, yes, he's undeniably the weakest player. I've seen a little over 530 episodes out of the 774 available, and Suk-jin has never really shone. I'm sure there must be special episodes about Suk-jin, but of the entire cast, he's the one who has won the fewest games. - Many people think that Kwang-soo is the weakest player, and even if that was true at the beginning of Running Man, he's seriously improved his game. He's become smarter, more deceitful, and more manipulative over time.

Nice info. I came back here when I started the reaction to the next episode to read your comment. I almost finished Heroes for the 2nd time. And even though this is my 2nd time watching it, I'm always a bit hesitant to recommend it to DG. The show is quite old, and had 0 budget. And there are times when the events are quite cringe tbh. But, it's very funny too. And, for the time, had quite the lineup (IU, idols from popular groups like KARA, T-ara, Fin.k.l, Jewelry, After School, etc, as well as actress Inna), and some popular guests like Taeyang and TVXQ.
