Doyeon is from IOI so you definitely see her in the very recent comeback then after IOI disbanded, she joined WekiMeki with her mate Yoojung (because they’re both from Fantagio). Now after WekiMeki disbandment, she focuses more on acting nowadays. Wonyoung was in Starship before joining Produce 48 (she was competing as Starship trainees with Yujin), so after IZ*ONE disbanded in mid-2021, they just went back to the company and debuted in IVE in December 2021. I believe this is before Somin and Mijoo worked in Sixth Sense together with Jaesuk because she mentioned that they weren’t close enough to pull a prank yet. Edit: SISTAR was disbanded and went their own way (one of the rare occasion where the group decided to part way themselves instead of company decisions. Sigh, what could have been). So members were pretty going wild when Soyou said she had a comeback soon because they thought SISTAR was gonna come back and reunion lmao. Dongjun was in ZE:A which was 2nd generation. ZE:A was always known as the group where members had more recognition as an individual than the group. Im Siwan (you definitely know him from Squid game, the bitcoin guy, Yuri’s trash BF) and Park Hyunshik who were right now pretty well known from their acting projects are from this group.

I'm sure they were trying to be careful with Yuqi and Wonyong in the ball game so they got spared the worst but the rest of them got no mercy. I think people who are rude and pick on the pronouanciation in an unhelpful manner should just be given the finger. The Korean letters are anyway pretty much in between the English counterparts and for example in the case of Gaeul the first letter ㄱ is somewhere between a G and a K. Same thing with Dami and the first letter ㄷ that's somewhere between a D and a T.

About the pronunciations. As long as you don't pronounce Dami as "Daymi" or "Dammy", I'm fine. I would never go into so much detail as how the ㄷ (d) should be pronounced. (If you really want to know, it's actually pronounced as [dha-mi]. And because of the "h", which is just air basically, the "d" gets cut off a little, which might harden the sound a bit, but it's not a "t"). As for Yuqi, yes her Korean name is pronounced like [oo-gi] (like boogy woogy). Pronouncing it as "Yuki" makes it sound a bit Japanese, so I get the correction there. Then again, I know another reactor (who knows Chinese) who knows how to pronounce her Chinese name, which sounds like [yoo-chi], and it's more natural for her to pronounce it like that. And she is also fighting comments every time... 😩 Kim Dong-jun. Yeah, I can definitely see the resemblance to Jo Byeong-kyu (Uncanny Counter). Dating shows? Hmm. I've never watched Singles Inferno, but I have watched a few seasons of We Got Married. Although a lot of seasons feature popular idols (like SHINee's Taemin with APink's Naeun, BTOB's Sungjae with Red Velvet's Joy, Eric Nam with Mamamoo's Solar, etc), and it's always nice to see them in a different setting, I'm not sure if it's worth reacting to tbh. As for a variety show I just know you'll like, is Sixth Sense (Jae-suk, Jessi, Mijoo, etc). I can never get enough of Mijoo's WILD dancing 😆 She never got the "idol image" message, and I love her for it. Wow, Se Chan got roasted 😄 Sure, he shouldn't have asked, but damn: "Your looks can't be rated between 1 and 10. We need negative numbers" "He looks handsome from 4km away" "He's handsome when he wears a mask" Jae-suk (and Yuqi) really did well, to start of with only 30ct, and still end up 2nd. I actually (re)watched this episode only a few weeks ago, and it still was fun to watch again.
