The next 10 pages batch! Hope you enjoy <3

Omg, this took me too long, all the little table things and food or homework related items ... I need to reduce some details to survive this comic lol

I swear to god, that little image of the tiny snake devouring that egg MADE MY DAY! XD One can see the gigantic effort going into these pages. But it's worth it! They look so good! TuT

I am always so happy for an update 😭💞 since I am also sick it really helped me feeling a little better. That Reubens Dad is THAT violent when guests are around is crazy to me. I wanna hug him so bad 🥲

I really liked the depiction of Reuben being so attuned to the sounds that his dad makes as he comes home from the door handle moving, the jingling keys, sliding his indoor sandals on, the sound of the curtain opening, etc. I didn’t grow up in this same environment but I can recognize each of my family members by their footsteps and figure out the mood they’re in based on how heavy their footfalls are. It was a form of anxiety I had/have from growing up. It feels bad, but I can relate to Reuben in that anxiety inducing way. But I agree with Sun Dee in saying that it’s wild that his dad is that violent around people, let alone a child, he’s never met before. It’s very, very scary… That being said, I loved this update so much!!

You put a lot of work into your pages and it really shows! The colors and textures and shading are amazing. Thank you for all that time you put in. Having read the sketches, I know the next batch of pages are going to be really rough. Poor Ruben.
