He should call the police anyway, it's not worth dying over. His dad has serious problems that he is taking out on his son. That's a first born and he should care alot for him. I've noticed he put more love for the daughter instead of him, he does nothing wrong . It's his personality and he doesn't deserve to get beaten at such a young age. I understand how it can feel and it's sad to read but I get it needs to be shown. I hope police take him and reuban can just live with his sister and mom. It's not his fault, it's his dad's issues.

I love it, i really liked how you make Reuben normalize the abuse cause in abusive families is seem as the child fault to get punished and Reuben doesn't wanting to call the cops cause "its family" plus i never tough i'd said that but i love Phanda, the way she saved Reuben was beautiful, in my case i had to learn on my own i could defend my self but it would had be nice if someone've done that for me
