I look forward to this comic. I think you are handling a tough topic very well in the comic.

KingBronxcyc

His self-destructive nature is something I can really connect with. I justed to destroy ever positive relationships I had because I was hurting. I hope that his high school career helps him heal.

God, the sequence is so crude. You are doing a great job with this, I think. Specially considering how complicated it can be to represent Now I will go cry in silence because I wanna hug Carter so much, my poor boy

Diego P

That last page(I assume is a double spread) is beautiful!

Tom G

That insidious slimeball 😣 But Carter being carried off haha 😄

Embry-Cove

Poor Carter. :( We, the unofficial Carter Fan Club, must PROTECC! >:3

Thingymabob

Man, that level of disassociation is super telling and heart breaking.

PeterT

I love how Lance always has a red background

Hey Crush, maybe it's not your fault that you feel this way, because you've been abused and manipulated a lot and that takes a toll on people. :/ I know that's not an easy conclusion to come to on your own, I hope that someday within the series he is able to get help with this and learn to stop blaming himself.

I don't know if this is just a good background and expositional flashback for the readers to gain a little insight on Carter's thought process but I thought the detail of him recounting events from the very beginning during his dissociation a really nice touch. The thoughts of "how did I get this way" in the middle of partaking in unhealthy coping behaviors really nails the guilt and disgust Carter seems to feel about himself in general and I think it adds incredible depth!! Fantastic writing !

HE WAS JUST A LITTLE KID he just wanted to pursue his passion and get to see the boy he liked..... that's so horrible :( I need to drop kick lance into the sun

Susanna Lavea

This hurts but also gives hope because somehow is semiaware of his trauma, I hope he finds a way to heal and the support he needs ❤

Ashley

on my god the way tiny crush was skating around his mom was so adorable???? i don’t want him to get hurt he’s too innocent :( so nervous about what’s gonna happen next

Maora

Little Carterchen is so cute. q.q You just have this stupid feeling of not wanting to know what's to come, even though you can guess it. Likes the flashback itself but loves it from time to time to understand Carter's past and present. :)

i wish his mom had picked up on the cues he was giving her uggggh as someone with adhd and parents who don’t understand it, you are depicting this so good. the cues for help were there!!!!
