Next pattern reward: D&D Mimic chest! (Patreon)

Hello everybunny ^^Now that we've posted Agumon, it's time to announce the next pattern reward! We were planning on making a new poll, but many designs already had plenty of votes so we chose to make one of the most popular and that we were most excited to make!

It's time to delve into the world of Dungeons and Dragons with a very special plush; a Mimic!

We've been playing this role-playing game for years and now that it's its 50th year anniversary, it's the perfect time to work more on their designs. And no monster could be better to start than the clasic chest shaped Mimic >:D

We wanted to make a classic design for this plush, but also with some unique features. For example, the asymetrical teeth, or the membrane that holds the jaws together. Plus, the special touch of the eyes glowing in the dark as the cherry on top~  We're trying to make it cool, cute, and creepy.

This won't be a particularly difficult plush to sew, but it'll have plenty of small pieces and details, so you need to be patient to make your own!

We also wanted to add extra parts like tiny coins to ressemble the treasure and some d20 dice. We'll see how many details we add in the final version ^^

Finally, since the sewing box mimic didn't get that many votes, if we do one it'll be for ourselves, as a personal project. Of course, if once it's done you really love it, maybe we could add its patterns in the future!

For this variant we thought of making the "can" a literal pincushion, where it'll have a big measure tape tongue, and the mouth floor where to put the pins and needles on, and some fake pins to make the teeth. We could add some buttons or similar elements.

Do you want yo see how this design evolves? We're super excited!The pattern will most likely be done by April, but it depends on how quickly we can finish the first tests. We'll keep you all informed!

Hello everybunny ^^Ahora que ya os subimos a Agumon, toca anunciar los próximos patrones de recompensa! Íbamos a hacer una nueva encuesta, pero hubo varios diseños que tuvieron muchos votos y al final decidimos hacer uno de los más votados y que teníamos más ganas de hacer

Toca viajar al mundo de Dragones y Mazmorras con un peluche muy especial; un mímico!

Hace muchos años que jugamos a este juego de rol, y ahora que se ha hecho tan popular y en su 50 aniversario, tenemos la excusa perfecta para trabajar más en sus diseños. Y qué mejor monstruo para empezar que el clásico mímico con forma de cofre >D

Para este peluche, quisimos hacer un diseño clásico pero a la vez con pequeños detalles que le hicieran único. Por un lado, los dientes asimétricos. Por otro, la membrana que une ambas mandíbulas. Y el detalle de hacer que los ojos brillen en la oscuridad le da el toque final~ Buscamos que sea chulo, adorable y algo creepy jejeje

Es un peluche que no será muy difícil de coser, pero si va a tener muchísimas mini piezas y detalles que hacer. Así que tendréis que tener paciencia para hacer el vuestro!

También queremos añadirle otros elementos como mini monedas que simulará el tesoro y algunos dados d20. Veremos cuantos detalles ponemos al final ^^

Por último, como la variante de "mímico costurero" no tuvo tantos votos, si lo acabamos haciendo será para nosotras, como un proyecto personal. Pero obviamente si al final os gusta mucho, podríamos añadir sus patrones para el futuro! Para esta variante hemos pensado en que el interior de la lata sea literalmente un alfiletero. Donde tendrá una lengua cinta métrica, y un "suelo bucal" acolchado donde poner los alfileres, con algunos de mentira que simulan los dientes. También sería ponerle algún botón y elementos del estilo.

Tenéis ganas de ver cómo va evolucionando este diseño en peluche? Nosotras estamos super emocionadas!Lo más seguro es que el patrón acabe siendo para Abril, pero dependerá de cómo de rápido nos salgan los primeros intentos. Iremos subiendo e informando!
