ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny! We will soon announce the next pattern reward and post Angle 100% finished~

But today we have a special project we've been working on. A couple months ago we were contacted by the indie gamedevs from Mala Pata studio. It's a Spanish company that are developing a game called Camper Van: make it home. It's a cozy game where you have your own camper van and can decorate it in your style ^^

^Well, they contacted us to make a plush to promote their game's release. At first they wanted to commission us to make the three pets you can have in the game. They were going to be so cute, but it was out of their budget as it was three different detailed plushies. So after discussing it, they asked us if it would be possible to make a plush of the van itself, and we said of course! We actually gave them the idea of making an embroidery of the petsin the windows. This way it would look more like their design ^^They didn't have much time, so we quickly started working on it. We did a first pattern test that turned out pretty good. We only needed to change the front shape and fix the wheels to not pop out so much.

So we decided to make the changes directly with the embroidery test, and here's where things got complicated. The problem was that the pet's embroidery was so small and detailed. It took us many hours to design and get what we wanted. But the embroidery turned out so cute. We also had problems with the logo embroidery. The embroidery software has tons of fonts and you can load your own ones as well, but the font they used is a paid one so we didn't have access to it. We had to trace every letter by hand. It was crazy hahaha but totally worth it!

And here's the resulting van! We still have to sew the mudguards (they are just pinned now). It turned out so cute! We would maybe change a couple details, like the thread colors of the pets, for more pastel tones. But we had a deadline to meet so we used what we had. If they want us to make more in the future (they are thinking on selling a few), we will simply change them then.

What do you think of the result? It's not the kind of plush we usually make, but we honestly like how it turned out a lot. Specially the shape and all the small details we could add into the embroidery. It's adorable and we hope the devs think the same

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!

Awesome work, well done. It amazes me that you can do the applique with such a thin satin stitch and so even. Love it.
