ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Hello everybunny!Today we finally have the first WIP^of our Gomamon >w< We weren't able to work on it until now, and we were excited to start patterning it.

As always, we've started working on the head, one of the most important parts of the plush. For this pattern, it has two big difficult parts. The first one is making a good looking muzzle. And the second one is using mochi fabric and mostly machine sewn. We don't work with mochi fabric often, so it's more difficult to guess the resulting shapes when patterning due to its great stretchiness.

But after thinking about it a few days, we've tried a first pattern test. And this is how it turned out! We still have lots of changes to make, but it already looks adorable and squishy ^^ We'll talk about the details and changes now.

First of all, since it's moichi fabric, it stretched a lot and turned out bigger than we expected hahaha. So we will shrink the pattern a bit. We've also seen that we have to define the cheeks more because mochi softens them too much.

Now to the muzzle, first we want to get a good shape separated from the head and then fuse it to the head pattern. That's why it's a different piece now. It turned out a bit big in proportion, and we want to improve the shape a bit, but we expected it to turn worse at the first try. It already looks good.

On the sideview it has the shape we wanted, which is a great start.

So overall, it's a very good first test that only needs a few changes. Specially the muzzle. But i shouldn't take us long to get the perfect shape :D

What do you think for this first test? Do you think it's good?

----ESPAÑOL----

Hello everybunny!

So squish. Is the muzzle gonna be machine sewn. Either way so cute.
