ENGLISH-----ESPAÑOL

These are just three of the 5 attempts we've made to get a perfect shape for our new plushie (in this case, Vulpix). And it still needs a couple changes, so there will be at least a sixth attempt...

In the photos you may not appreciate the difference much, and sadly, many people don't pay attention to the plushie shapes. But we can't help but try to do it the best we can.

We always start with a first attempt made with white polar fleece, the cheapest fabric we have. If the final plush will be made of polar fleece, we keep trying with polar fleece. If the plush will be made of minky, once we have more or less the shape we want, we make the needed changes to the pattenrs and start trying it on minky, since it has slightly different elasticity than polar fleece, and sometimes we have to make some more changes to the pattern.

This is by far the most stressful part of the process of making a plush. Many people would stay with the first good looking pattern they get, but it's almost never our case (when we get the perfect shape on the first try we literally scream) and we keep trying until everything is perfect.

On this pattern, the changes have been mostly on the leg openings. But sometimes the changes are over way less important details!

Curious fact: The simplier the shape, the more difficult is to get the perfect pattern!
