Original work ideas merch - CUIMIDA (Patreon)

We always joke about eating our Guinea pigs (in some south american countries like Perú they eat them) because they are so cute you wanna eat them. We also make tons of puns including "cui" (the sound piggies make). Our most used pun is "cuimida" wich stands for cui + comida (food in Spanish). 

 And in the middle of many puns, Kuri thought of "Tacuiyaki". One thing lead to another and... We've spent the afternoon brainstorming food puns using "cui", "guinea pig", etc...

And these are the bizarre ideas that came out hahahaha

Some of them are Tacuiyaki, Macui roll, Kacuigori, Macuiroon, Danguinea pig, Cuiyoza, Banana cui, Ice cuim...

The truth is that we thought it was a funny and original idea. Making plushies of different Guinea pig shaped foods, and the most doffocult designs as charms and stickers. The collection's name would be "cuimida" and the logo would be our bunny Niebla, ready to eat those delicuious food hahahaha. Plus, we would make different series, with japanese food, desserts...

We think it's a way to make original merch and stuff for conventions, something that we've wanted to do for a long time, but never had good enough ideas.

Nosotras siempre hemos bromeado sobre comernos a nuestros cuyos(en peru se comen,en verdad) porque se esconden mucho y dan ganas de atraparlos. Ademas, siempre jugamos a usar la silaba "cui" al hablar. Como "cuintar", "CUIdamos"....Pero sobretodo, CUImida.

Y entre muchas palabras, a Kuri se le ocurrió la palabra "Tacuiyaki".
Y entre una cosa y la otra...hoy nos hemos pasado la tarde pensando en comida que se pudiera bromear con cobayas. Usando Cui, guinea pig,etc...

Y han salido estas monadas bizarradas jajajaja.

Entre ellas tenemos: Tacuiyaki, Macui Roll, Kacuigori, Macuiroon, Lancuistinos, Danguinea pig, Taiyacui, Cuiyoza, Cuishushi, Cuidamames, Cuigette, Cuirrito, Tacui, Banana Cui, Cuining, Ice cuim...

La verdad, nos ha parecido muy gracioso y original. Hacer todo tipo de comida en forma de Cobaya tanto en peluche como algunos mas dificiles en llavero. Que la marca de esta colección sea "Cuimida" y sea el dibujo de nuestro conejo Niebla preparado para comerse a las delicuisas cobayas jajajajaja. Ademas, habria colecciónes ambientadas. Comida japonesa, postres...

Hemos pensado que seria una forma de llevar merchan original a los eventos,y asi, empezar poco a poco a hacer peluches originales,que es algo que tenemos desde siempre muchas ganas de hacer pero no se nos ocurrían buenas ideas.
