Finished Meltan plush (Patreon)

Well, you probably have already seen the finished plush in our social media, but we are posting it here too, and with better quality.

The truth is that having made it in record time (without even sleeping so we could finish it, and working on comms and con stuff at the same time) it came out super adorable. And we had super few references back then!

We don't like making plushies so fast, but when there is a design that you fall in love with you can't help but work on it. It had already happened to us with previous Pokémon announcements or characters that we liked and once we started to work on them, commissions and the time it was taking us made us stop working on them and leave them unfinished (Dusk Lycanroc I'm looking at you... Such an awesome plush that has been on hold for a over a year...). So it was great to make a plush just because we wanted to, without it being a commission or convention stuff. It had been too long since we had made one, too long. And it has motvated us to make them more often. Because this is our job, but we don't want it to stop us from doing plushies just for the fun of making them, because it is our passion. And we don't want our passion and magic to disappear.

What do you think about us using some time each month for personal projects? Would you want to see their process here and help us decide which one to make? We will probably sell more than one of these personal projects, just like we sold Meltan.

Bueno, seguramente ya lo visteis en las redes sociales terminado, pero os lo subimos de cerca y con calidad por aquí.

La verdad es que para haberlo hecho en tiempo récord( por las noches al terminar los encargos y sin casi dormir) nos quedó super adorable. Y mira que casi no habían referencias en el momento!

No nos gusta hacer peluches tan rápido, pero cuando ves un diseño que te enamora, es inevitable ponerte a trabajar en el. Y ya nos había pasado que anteriores pokemon anunciados o personajes que nos gustan y los empezábamos a hacer y por el trabajo y tiempo, los dejamos sin terminar (Lycanroc crepuscular...un peluche chulisimo que desde hace un año esta a medias).  Y la verdad, es que fue gratificante hacer un peluche por que queríamos, sin ser un encargo o material para un evento. Hacia mucho que no lo hacíamos,demasiado. Y nos ha animado a hacerlo mas. Porque es nuestro trabajo, pero no queremos que deje de ser algo que nos apasiona. Y la ilusión y la magia no debe perderse.

¿Os parece bien que intentemos guardar un poco de tiempo para hacer proyectos personales? ¿Os gustaría verlos por aquí y ayudarnos a decidir cuales escoger? Probablemente pongamos a la venta más de uno de estos proyectos, igual que pusimos a la venta a Meltan.
