Sobble WIP 6: Face embroidery (Patreon)

We were going to post the embroidery design first and then the face when it was done but we couldn't manage to write so many posts and working on this little guy. Also, he looks so SO adorable, we couldn't help posting him now. Please, look at that cute little face.

The embroidery was difficult to design, but the concept was similar to the humanoid OC we did in December (The Komissar). If you remember it, it has a color change under the eyes and other details. This means the order in which each part is embroidered is really important. We also had to be careful that the color changes matched when sewing both pieces together, plus the huge embroidered eye.

But we were lucky, the embroidery machine behaved properly and gave us this incredible work.

Íbamos a subir un post del archivo de bordado y luego ya subir la tela bordada en si. Pero es que no damos a basto entre actualizar Patreon y trabajar todo lo posible en este pequeñín. Además, ha quedado TAN mono que no podíamos evitar subirlo ya. Por favor, mirad qué monada.

El bordado era bastante complejo de plantear. Es parecido al OC pez humanoide que hicimos hace poco, si os acordáis. Tiene cambio de color con un ojo y detalles por en medio. Eso nos obliga a tener mucho cuidado en el orden de aplicar cada bordado. También teníamos que tener mucho cuidado en la curva del azul claro y que encaje el cambio de color con la otra pieza. Además, obviamente, de ese gigantesco ojo bordado completamente.

Pero hemos tenido suerte, la máquina de bordar se ha portado bien y nos ha dado este increíble trabajo.
