Grookey WIP 3: Head and body (Patreon)

Tell us that it doesn't look adorable like this. You know you can't lie. He's a cutie.

For the sitting body we have needed 3 attempts (you can see the first two tests in the back in the first pic). It's been a really long time since we made a sitting plush and we found it pretty hard, honestly. But at the end the shape and proportions turned out good.

We are working on the arms and hands, which are the last tricky piece left to pattern. We want to try to make it with the pose of the concept art, with one arm up, so each arm will have a different pattern. Let's see how the experiment turns out.

Also, each minute we are doubting more about selling it or make a second one to sell like we will with the other two starters, because it's turning out so cute and we are loving it hahahah

Decidnos que no se ve adorable asomado. Sabéis que no podéis mentir. Es una ternura.

Para este cuerpo sentado hemos necesitado 3 pruebas (en el fondo de la primera foto se pueden ver tumbados). Hacia muchísimo que no hacíamos un patrón de este estilo y nos ha sido bastante difícil, la verdad. Pero al final ha quedado muy bien de forma y proporción.

Estamos ya trabajando en los brazos y manitas, que son la única pieza compleja de patronar que queda. Queremos intentar que la mano apoyada en el suelo se vea diferente a la abierta para dar un efecto mas realista. A ver que tal nos sale el experimento.

A medida que lo hacemos tenemos menos claro si lo pondremos a la venta o lo reharemos como los otros dos iniciales, porque esta quedando demasiado bonito jajajaja.
