We're finally showing you out dear dragon completely finished. And we do it while trying a new way to show our finished plushies; a video showing the plush in different angles to show all the important parts ^^We'll obviously keep taking photoshoots for our portfolio, but we think that with a video, it will be easier and faster to show the finished plushies on Patreon, since it doesn't need much editing apart from the audio, and you will be able to appreciate the volume and stuff that it's hard to show on a picture.Some videos will be Patreon exclusive while others will also be posted on our sns.

Now let's comment the plush. We're really proud of the result we got. If you compare it to the plush we made 3 years ago, you can see how much it has improved, not only in materials (minky and embroidery), but in proportions and patterns as well.We want to comment specially the head. We improved the shapes and proportions, but what has changed the most is the mouth. The old one was small and the upper jaw was too short, while in the new one both jaws are more proportional to each other. Also, we have improved a lot on making open jaws and using foam structures, and it shows. In the new one, we managed to have the beak super defined and the lower jaw is thinner.But we didn't put our efforts only in the head. As we said in the WIPs, we've modified and basically remade from scratch almost all the patterns to make the plush as similar to the 3D model as possible.

With this plush we learned that remaking old plushies isn't as easy as it seems. But wehn making this kind of projects, we see how much we've improved, and it fills us with joy. Finalmente, os traemos a nuestro querido dragón terminado. Y lo hacemos estrenando un nuevo formato para enseñar los peluches terminados; un video descriptivo enseñando todos los planos importantes del peluche ^^Obviamente, seguiremos haciendo sesiones de fotos a nuestros peluches para nuestro portafolio de trabajo. Pero creemos que con el video podremos subir mucho mas rápido los peluches terminados a Patreon (pues no se necesita editar a parte del audio) y se podrán apreciar detalles de volumen y dimensiones que no se aprecian tan bien en las fotos. Algunos de estos vídeos serán exclusivos de Patreon y otros los acabaremos enseñando también al público.Pasando a comentar el peluche, la verdad es que estamos super satisfechas con el resultado final que hemos conseguido.  Si lo comparáis con la foto que os hemos puesto del peluche de hace 3 años, se puede apreciar la gran mejora que ha tenido, no solo en acabado por el tema de los materiales(tela minky y bordados), sino por proporciones y patronaje que hemos conseguido en la nueva versión.La parte en la que queremos hacer más hincapié es en la cabeza. Tanto el tamaño como la forma han mejorado y sobretodo en la boca. Mientras que en la versión antigua la boca era pequeña, algo metida hacia dentro, con poca dimensión y una mandíbula algo deformada (en ese entonces no sabíamos hacer tan bien estructuras de espuma), la nueva mantiene bien ese pico hueco de la mandíbula superior y es más alargada, así como la mandíbula inferior es más delgada y con una forma más definida.Pero no solo hemos dejado nuestro esfuerzo en la boca, si no que, como ya hemos ido comentando durante el proceso, hemos ido modificando y prácticamente rehaciendo de cero todos los patrones para que fuera lo más fiel posible al modelo 3D.Con este peluche hemos aprendido que los remake no son tan fáciles o rápidos como uno puede pensar. Pero al hacer este tipo de proyectos, nos damos cuenta de todo lo que hemos mejorado, y nos llena de felicidad. ¿Qué os parece? ¿Os gusta más la nueva versión? ¿Creéis que en el video se aprecian bien todos los detalles?
