David & Felix - Lalin's Curse plush WIP 1: Plush study (Patreon)

Well, let's start with a new commission.You know that we love making plushies of characters designed by our customers, both fan characters and completely original ones, as long as we have enough references, of course. But when the characters are important in the artist's life, the hype and pressure both raise. And this is what happened when one of our oldest patrons and creator of one of Webtoon's most popular webcomic commissioned us. She's Isaky, the author of Lalin's curse, a drama comic that will make you love it since the first page~

The characters she commissioned are David and Felix, the man characters of the story. You don't know how excited we are to make them, since we're fans of her work and we know how much she loves her story.

After this little fangirl moment, we'll focus on the plush study. As you can see, they're human plushies, but we have to comment some stuff about them. First, the pattern will be different than the other humanoids we've made, since they will be sitting. Also, they will have a Nendoroid like style.

The most difficult part of this commission is the high amount of details the clothes have.Look at how many colours and drawings does each piece has. We discussed it with the customer, to decide if we would use either polar fleece or clothing fabric, but in the end we decided to do something completely new for us. Do you want to know more? Other details that will complete the plushies are their respective mascots, that will attatch thanks to magnets. We have a lot of work to do :)

Bueno, arrancamos con un nuevo encargo.Sabéis que siempre nos gusta hacer personajes diseñados por los clientes, tanto OCs de series como personajes de historias originales (siempre que tengamos referencias suficientes, claro). Pero cuando los personajes son importantes en la vida del artista, las  ganas a la vez que la presión se incrementan. Y es lo que nos pasó con una de nuestras más antiguas patrons y creadora de uno de los web cómic mas famosos de Webtoon. Isaky, la creadora de Lalin's curse, un cómic drama que te engancha desde la primera página~Si no lo conocéis, os animamos a leerlo, en serio.  https://www.webtoons.com/en/drama/lalins-curse/list?title_no=1601Los personajes que nos encargó hacer son nada más y nada menos que David y Felix, los protagonistas de su hermosa historia. No sabéis la ilusión que nos hace confeccionar estos peluches, pues somos fans de su obra y sabemos lo mucho que quiere a su trabajo.Después de este pequeño momento fangirl, vamos a centrarnos en el estudio de los peluches. Como podéis ver, son peluches humanoides, pero tienen cosas que comentar. En primer lugar, el patrón será distinto al que hemos hecho hasta ahora, pues estarán sentados. Y como apunte, nos pidió que tuviera un estilo parecido a los peluches de Nendoroid.Por otro lado, la dificultad mayor de este encargo es el nivel de detalle que tiene la ropa de ambos personajes. Fijaros en cuantos dibujos y colores tiene cada prenda. Lo estuvimos hablando con la clienta y después de debatir si usar bordados o usar ropa real, decidimos conseguir esos detalles con una técnica que no habíamos utilizado hasta ahora. ¿Queréis saber mas? ¡Pues atentos a los próximos Wips!Otros detalles que completarán los peluches son las pequeñas mascotas que van a llevar cada uno, que se unirán con imanes sin ningún problema.
