ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL
It's time to talk about this plushie's embroidery, starting with the eyes.
In the 3D model the eye has a gradient, but the color change is so subtile that it's hard to design an embroidery like that. In the future, we'd love to make gradient embroideries. We've seen that some artists use different techniques for that, such as airbrush, paint or markers. We'll have to try them all to see which one convinces us.
But for now, we just made a color change. We wanted it to look like an eye shine unther the pupil to make it look less plain. We think it gives a lively touch to the plush :)Another problem we found was the placement. In our first try the eyes were rotated and too at the front, so we had to redo all the embroidery, throwung away a lot of fabric. But the change was worth it.
Finally, we have the abdomen embroidery. Since our hoop can't fit such bic areas, we had to do it by hand with our sewing machine. Luckily they were just a few simple lines and were easy to make. We just had to be careful when sewing them together to make sure they all matched each other and didn't look weird.
Deben verse bien continuas.
