Larvesta WIP 5: Finished body (Patreon)

With the embroidery done, and all the patterns scaled up and sewn, we have our base plush all done :)

As you can see, it's huge. It's 60cm long! And it still misses the legs, horns and fur. Thinking that this plush is just half of its real size, makes you wonder how scary would some real life pokemon be. But we have to recognize that Larvesta loos super cuddly, you wanted to hug him all the time >w<

Like we told you on the body prototype post, we raised up the head a bit, and also managed the abdomen slighlty curved upwards. We also like the decision to use dark grey instead of black for the face, it looks more pastel. We ususally prefer to use dark gray on black pokemon, except for the ones that are super black like Umbreon.As a downside, we don't really like the fact that we had to use 4 pieces for the abdomen, but we managed to hide the seams pretty well. 

By the way, please ignore Cris' face on the last picture. We were really tired when we took the pics hahahaha

Con el bordado ya hecho y escaladas y cosidas todas las piezas, ya tenemos la base de nuestro peluche completamente terminada :)Como podéis ver, tiene un cuerpo enorme, de 60 cm. Y aún le faltan patas, cuernos y pelo para estar terminado. Pensar que este es tamaño es escala 1/2 del real que indica la pokedex, te hace pensar que a veces da miedo lo grande que llegan a ser los Pokémon en el mundo real. Pero hay que reconocer que es muy achuchable, y daban ganas de abrazarlo todo el rato >w<.Tal como os dijimos en el prototipo del cuerpo, le subimos un poco la cabeza para que coincidiera con el esquema que nos habíamos dibujado, además de conseguir que el abdomen quedará algo levantado por el final. Y fue todo un acierto usar gris oscuro en vez de negro, le da un toque más apastelado con la luz. Para peluches de Pokemon que sean negros, casi siempre es mejor usar gris oscuro, excepto en casos como Umbreon, que la gracia es que sea negro negro.Como contra, no nos gusta del todo la costura que se ve en medio del abdomen y tórax, pero sacándole los pelos y peinándolo, creemos que se verá poco. Era necesario ponerla si queríamos conseguir una buena forma desgraciadamente.Por cierto, ignorad la censura de la cara de Cris en la última foto. Teníamos mucho sueño al hacer las fotos  hahahahaVenga, vamos a por los últimos detalles, que prometen mucho :)
