Face embroidery with 3D eyelashes (Patreon)

Here's the final result of all those 3D embroidered eyelashes tests we made. It actually was more easy than we thought it would be. It was a rather quick technique to learn and we'll be able to use them in future projects, and not only for eyelashes. Our major issues when wmbroidering them were the regular ones: densities, loose stitches, etc. Things that make us have to repeat the embroidery until the machine does it right.This reminds us that we have to get a new embroidery machine soon. It's something we need because our current one has a hoop too small for many of our projects, and it's also starting to get old, and we don't find any place that will do proper mantainence to it. But we still have to save up a lot for a new machine.

Pues aquí os traemos el resultado final de nuestras pruebas con el bordado de pestañas en 3D. La verdad es que nos ha resultado más fácil de lo que pensábamos conseguirlo. Ha sido una técnica bastante rápida de aprender y que podremos utilizar para muchos elementos distintos en el futuro, no solo pestañas. Los únicos contratiempos que hemos tenido a la hora de bordar han sido los que solemos tener en todos los bordados: dificultades de densidad, puntadas sueltas, etc. Cosas que solo podemos arreglar repitiendo el bordado hasta que la máquina lo haga bien. Trabajar en esto nos recuerda que en cuanto podamos queremos cogernos una máquina de bordar nueva. Es algo que necesitamos con mediana urgencia, porque la actual se ha quedado pequeña en tema de bastidor y ya empieza a fallar, y no conseguimos que en ninguna tienda la pongan "a punto". Pero sabemos que para ello tenemos que ahorrar un poco más.¿Qué os parece el resultado final? ¿Os gusta? ¡A nosotras nos encanta como quedan!
