Animal Crossing style Slunny! (Patreon)

Good day everyone!

We hope you are doing good during the COVID-19 quarantine and are safe at your homes. Our embroidery machine is still under repairment since the store has closed until everything passes, so we can't work much, and thus our activity here has been low. On top of that, you may have read it on our Twitter or Instagram, but last friday we had to say goodbye to Cobi, one of our guinea pigs, and spent several days without strength to work or writing any post. Don't worry, we're much better now!

But we have a little surprise. MAny of you may be waiting for tomorrow, since it's the release day of the new Animal Crossing game. We wanted to have both squirrell villagers finished by tomorrow so we could post them to celebrate the release, but it hasn't been possible, sadly. We'll have to wait until we get our embroidery machine back to finish them.

But there's a plush we could finish, and some WIPs of it, too. And maybe you like it as well~

Say hi to our mascot, Slunny, in Animal Crossing version! Yes, finally a plush of our baby! Until now, we had only made a snowman version of him, and we wanted to make a plush with a more complex design since then. So we worked on this plush during our free time. It was actually this plush we were working on when we sent our embroidery machine to repairment. And now it's time to show him.

About the design, we used the bunny villager's base, and changed the ears to be like Slunny's.
The only thing that changed from this drawing to the plush was the T-shirt, because we were going to print the fabric together with Marshall and Filbert's but since we haven't finished them, we didn't order the custom printed fabric. So we made a different design that is also really cute!

¡Buenos días a todos! 

Esperamos que estéis pasando bien todo el tema de la cuarentena y el COVID-19 en vuestras casas sanos y salvos. Por nuestra parte, al seguir con la bordadora rota y con la tienda donde la tienen cerrada hasta nuevo aviso, nos hemos visto obligadas a parar bastante la producción de nuestros encargos, por ello nuestra inactividad ha seguido por aquí. Además, no sabemos si lo habíais leído ya en nuestras redes, pero el viernes pasado tuvimos que decirle adiós a una de nuestras cobayas, Cobi, y estuvimos varios días sin muchos ánimos para trabajar ni hacer ningún post. Ya estamos mejor, no os preocupéis! 

Pero tenemos una pequeña sorpresa. Seguro que todos estáis deseando que llegue mañana para jugar al nuevo animal crossing. Y nosotras, para esa fecha, deseábamos tener listos los peluches de las adorables ardillas. No ha podido ser, se debe posponer un poco. 

Pero os traemos un peluche que sí hemos podido terminar, junto a sus wips, y creemos que os hará igual de ilusión con la salida de mañana.  

¡Saludad a nuestra mascota Slunny en versión Animal Crossing! Así es chicos, ¡al fin un peluche de nuestro bebé! Hasta ahora sólo habíamos hecho la versión muñeco de nieve, y teníamos ganas de hacer alguno más chulo. Así que en total secreto, estuvimos trabajando en este proyecto, que es justo el peluche que estuvimos haciendo antes de enviar la bordadora a reparar. Y es hora de enseñároslo.  

Tema diseño, hemos usado el modelo de cuerpo de un conejo, inventándonos, obviamente, la forma de las orejas.
La única modificación que hicimos al final fue ponerle otra camiseta, porque no pudimos encargar la ropa estampada por la cuarentena, ya que la íbamos a pedir junto a la ropa de Munchi y Filberto. Así que hicimos otro diseño para ésta. Aun así, quedó adorable, prometido.
