Heracross WIP 4: Giant embroidery (Patreon)

ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL
It's time to show you one of the MOST difficult parts of this plush together with the horn; the embroidery.
As we commented before, we didn't have our current embroideyr machine. The hoop was really small and it was more difficult to make big embroideries fit and match betweent the different parts. So we had to make all the lines with the sewing machine.
On the first picture you can see Cris, marking all the lines for the embroidery, and then, with a lot of patience, she embroidered them with the sewing machine. It was a tedious and tiring work, but necessary. We fist sewn a straight line to make it easier to follow when doing the actual embroidery with the zigzag stitch. Pretty much following the same process as when making an appligue with a sewing machine.
Once all the body lines were done, we made the eyes embroidery. We used the embroidery machine for them, since they were really big apliques plus the eye shine embroidery. We posted a photo of one eye's embroidery process, but we also have a video! It's not as good as the ones with the new machine but it's still cool to watch ;)https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ep0Pg_pqKirZlSJvN1ui8jmaQhJhsuOB/view?usp=sharing
Finally, once the embroidery was done, we had to iron the whole piece in order to flatten all the wrinkles caused by the embroidery. We had to do it on the floor because we didn't have room anywhere, and we still had to repeat the whole process for the back hahaha
You can see how big that front piece was comparing it to Cris' arm and Niebla's cage ;)
We honestly like these pictures better than the ones on the previous WIPs, and there are still more!
