Lopmon Digimon WIP 3: More body prototypes and first arms (Patreon)

We keep working on Lopmon's body patterns. We won't show all the tests we made because there were a lot and with small changes. But just to gibe you an idea, the ones in the pictures are the 7th (armless) and 8th prototypes. We've needed so many attempts because, as we always say, the simplier the shape, the more difficult is to make them perfect. On top of that, we wanted to make this pattern perfect so we can use it as a base for future plushies with a similar body. We always made them with the tummy too big, or with shapes weweren't happy with. So we decided to take our time with this one to get a good pattern.

On the first picture you can compare the 7th and 8th bodies, and also the 3rd and 4th heads. The last body and head also have the first arm tests. Each one is a different pattern, which still need changes.

We really like how this last attempt turned out. We still want to change a few things, like the hips and tummy height, and the legs, which we liked more how they looked like before. We basically want to move all that area up. But the rest has good shapes and proportions. Specially the head. We liked the third one a lot, but seeing it next to the new one, the change is incredible! It looks perfect now :)

Pues seguimos trabajando en el patrón del cuerpo para Lopmon. No os vamos a enseñar todas las pruebas que hicimos entremedias porque son muchas y muy iguales. Pero para que os hagáis una idea, los cuerpos de las fotos son el séptimo y octavo prototipos. Hemos necesitado tantas pruebas porque, como os solemos decir, cuanto más simple es la forma del peluche, más difícil es hacerlo "clavado". Además, queríamos aprovechar y trabajar bien en este patrón para poderlo usar en el futuro para otros peluches con cuerpo parecido. Siempre nos salían con mucha barriga o formas que no nos convencían. Y hemos decidido tomarnos nuestro tiempo en sacar un buen patrón base.En la primera foto tenéis una comparativa directa del penúltimo cuerpo y el último, así como la tercera cabeza y la cuarta, que es nueva. Además, también se ven las primeras pruebas para los brazos, aunque aún les falta bastante por pulir.La verdad es que nos gusta muchísimo cómo ha quedado esta última prueba. Hay elementos que queremos cambiar, como la curva de la cintura, la barriga y los muslos, que nos gusta más como se veía en el cuerpo anterior. Básicamente, queremos como "subir" toda esa zona un poco hacia arriba. Pero por lo demás se ve muy bien de proporciones y formas. Sobretodo la cabeza. La tercera nos gustaba ya mucho, pero al verla al lado de la cuarta ahora, el cambio ha sido increíble! Sin duda, ahora está perfecta :)
