ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Well, after finishing the Applin sewing instructions, the past week we worked some more on the SOTN prototypes (we will show you pictures in a few days) and kept workinf on Sherb's patterns. If you remember, we resized the head and were working on the body. We've needed several tests, but we finally have the patterns we wanted for the gat villager's bodies. Now it's time to show it to you all ;)

Making a good body was hard. In one hand, goats have a low chin and far from the neck, and that made the plush look like it had no shoulders. We had to try different necks and shoulders until we managed to make them visible. Luckily not all villager species have such weird heads and necks hahahaOn the other hand, we had to make the torso longer several times, goats seem to have the longest bodies of the game.We made a picture comparing the 5th and 6th bodies, to show how each one looked like with the head.

Some good news are that making so many body patterns let us get not only Sherb's body, because the 5th test, the previous one to the body we kept, looks exactly like Cat and Rabbit villagers bodies! Those species share the same body, which is very similar to the goat's, but with a shorter torso and different hands. So we got two bodies looking just for one. ^^ It will save us a lot of time when we make Raymond in the future hahaha

Finally, we wanted to add to the post the first clothes patterns we've tried. He looks adorable all dressed up. And we can't wait to design and order the printed fabric. But before that, we have to finish patterning the clothes, because in this first test the sleeves are too tight. But if we're lucky and shipping times are short, we may be able to post our baby goat with his adorable winter jumper for Christmas time.

We hope that in the next post we can show you how the printed design turned out :D
