Sherb Animal crossing WIP 9: Print design (Patreon)

ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

After a whole day designing it, Sherb's jumper is ready to print :) This design took us longer than usual, because we wanted to get the feeling that it's a knitted jumper so we decided to make the design in pixel art. We don't usually work with pixel art, so we had to edit the design many times until we were pleased with the result. But we think we managed to get the knitted feeling, specially when you look the design from far away or in a small size hahahaAs you can see, we have the front, back and sleeves (theyr'e almost the same design), and also some vertical lines that we will use in the sleeve cuffs, neck and bottom. We made something similar with Marshal and David (the character from Lalin's Curse). And we ordered a fabric piece that fits 5 jumpers. We "only" have to make 3 Sherbs, but this way we have room for mistakes ^^

We really like how it looks, the design looks very cool, symmetrical and winterly. We hope the fabric arrives soon, we can't wait to see our baby goat all dressed up.

We also have to work on other clothes for Sherb. If you remember, apart from his default jumper, we have to make his pajamas and a blue heart apron, but those will be made with regular minky. We'll see how they turn out!

Pues después de un día entero diseñando, ya tenemos nuestra ropa para Sherb preparada :) Este diseño nos ha llevado un poco más de tiempo de lo normal. Quisimos imitar la sensación de que es un tejido de punto y decidimos utilizar un dibujo estilo pixel art. No lo solemos trabajar mucho ese estilo, así que tuvimos que editar varias veces hasta que nos convenció el resultado. Pero creemos que da bastante esa sensación, sobre todo al mirar el archivo de lejos o en pequeño hahaha.Como podréis ver, tenemos la pieza de delante, los brazos y la espalda (son casi el mismo estampado en todas las partes), así como unas líneas que servirán para imitar el reborde del cuello y puños. Con Marshal y David (el personaje de Lalin's curse) ya hicimos algo parecido. Y hemos pedido una muestra donde tenemos 5 jerséis completos. Tenemos que hacer "solo" 3 Morfeos, pero así tenemos extras por si nos equivocamos ^^La verdad es que nos gusta mucho como se ve, ha quedado un dibujo muy bonito, simétrico e invernal. Esperamos que llegue la tela pronto, nos morimos de ganas de verle el jersey puesto a nuestra cabrita.Por otro lado, tenemos que trabajar en otras ropas para Morfeo. Si os acordáis, a parte de su camiseta default, nos pidieron su pijama y un delantal azul, ambos de tela de minky normal. ¡A ver como nos quedan!
