Finished Zeru plush (Patreon)

After a week of hand sewing pieces, battling with the huge mane and preparing a good photoshoot, we finally bring you Zeru finished!!

This plush was a good challenge for us, but it was 100% worth it.Starting with the skull, which we really like the shape we made despite the lack of references. The eyebrows gave him a lot of personality, and the embroidery turned out adorable. About the body, it was a rather simple body, but the claws give him a unique touch. We're happy to have made them in 3D, and even if you can't appreciate much it in the pictures, when you touch them it feels like grabbing a real animal's claws.

Finally, the faux fur work was the most important part of the plush without doubt. They were a lot of days making tests for the mane, tufts and colour changes. But we managed to make it look fluffy and that all the pieces are well integrated between each other (in the case of the base mane and the tufts).

Looking at the pictures, the mane is what catches more the attention without doubt, and the colour combination is beautiful. In general, it's a gorgeous baby~As a last detail, you can see the small surprise that's that the eyes glow in the dark~ We had the idea and the customer loved it!

We're very proud of the result of this plush, and more because it's an original character, because we know it will mean a lot to the customer ^^

Now we will be a few days taking a break from patterning and sewing some plushies we have half done or working on Patreon content. But next week we'll start with a new commission!!

Después de una semana cosiendo piezas a mano, peleando con la enorme melena y preparando una buena sesión de fotos, por fin os traemos terminado a Zeru!!  

Este peluche ha sido un buen reto para nosotras, pero ha valido 100% la pena. Empezando por el cráneo, nos gusta mucho la forma que al final conseguimos aún con la falta de referencias. Las cejas le dieron mucha personalidad, y el bordado quedó adorable. Respecto al cuerpo, era un cuerpo bastante simple, pero las garritas le dan un toque único. Estamos contentas de haberlas hecho en 3D, y aunque en las fotos no se aprecia, al cogerlas de verdad da la sensación de garritas de animal.  

Finalmente, el trabajo con el faux fur es lo más importante del peluche sin duda. Fueron muchos días haciendo pruebas de melenas, mechones y cambios de color. Pero hemos conseguido que se vea fluffy y que todas las piezas estén bien integradas entre ellas (en el caso de los mechones y la pieza principal).  

Mirando las fotos, sin duda la melena es lo que más llama la atención, y la combinación de colores es preciosa. Pero en general es un hermoso bebé~ Como último detalle, podéis ver la sorpresa del bordado del ojo que brilla en la oscuridad~ Fue una idea que tuvimos y al cliente le encantó!  

Estamos muy orgullosas del resultado de este peluche, y más por el hecho de ser un personaje original, porque sabemos que va a significar mucho para el cliente ^^  

Ahora vamos a estar un par de días descansando de patronar y cosiendo algún peluche a medias que tenemos o trabajando en contenido de Patreon. Pero la próxima semana nos pondremos con un nuevo encargo!!
