ENGLISH/ESPAÑOL

Well, we can finally show you a new Dom WIP ^^Sorry for taking a while, but last week we adopted a bunny that was going to be abandoned and it's been chaotic, with vet visits and organizing our home for her. On the last picture there's a photo of our new family member, Cocoa!

Let's get back to the plush. To start working on this plush, we had to imagine how Dom's body would look without the wool, like if he was naked or sheared. We made a rough drawing to see in how many parts we would split the plush, like the body, head and face.Once we had this clear, we made some basic tests for the body and head. We had some complications with the face, since we didn't like how the first patterns looked. At the end we decided to make a completely different pattern from the first ones and it started to look like we wanted :D

Here are some pics of how this first prototype looks. Of course we still have to make a lot of changes, like making the body wider and making the face more round and cute. But it's a very good base to start working from!

Something important to say about this commission is that we won't know if the body pattern is 100% okay or needs changes until we make the wool, because we can't know exactly how it will look when we add it.So it's a plush that we won't know if it's turning out good until we are approaching the end. Luckily, the face is independent from the wool so we can leave it almost finished in the next tests.

What do you think? Do you think it's going the right direction? We think we're starting to get that sheep shape we're looking for.Let's keep working hard!

Toca seguir trabajando duro!

I’m really excited to see how you work out a sheep pattern! Your breakdown of the shapes is similar to what I had in mind if I were to ever make a sheep villager
