Dom Animal Crossing WIP 12: Making clothes and last details (Patreon)

Happy weekend everybunny. We're very happy, we're finally finishing this adorable villager >w< Though we are also sad because we'll say goodbye to him soon.

Like we said in the previous post, once both horns were done, we hand sew all the wool layers. It took a long time, and at some points we had to sew layers more than once because they weren't centered. But everything is finally on its place ^^

With all this done, there's only the final Tshirt left. The pattern was different than the other villager's we've made, because the body is wider and the shirt short in proportion. The one that we used with the prototype needed some changes, and after a couple tests we got what we wanted.

So apart from making the final T shirt and brushing all the plush, we can show you the finished Dom. Here are some quick photos we took last night.And what to say, we're too proud of the result ;__; It's been many hours invested in patterning and testing. But we love it, he looks beautiful and fair to the game model!

Feliz fin de semana. Hoy estamos muy contentas, porque por fin terminamos a nuestro adorable vecino >w< aunque también estamos algo tristes, porque pronto le diremos adiós. 

Como os dijimos en el anterior post, una vez hecho los dos cuernos, nos pusimos a coser todas las capas de lana y a unir todas las piezas necesarias a mano. Fue un trabajo muy largo y en algunos momentos tuvimos que repetir costuras porque se descentraban. Pero finalmente quedó todo bien colocado ^^  

Con todo esto hecho, solo nos quedaba hacer la camiseta a limpio. El patrón era algo distinto al de los demás vecinos porque el cuerpo es muy ancho, y la camiseta muy corta en proporción. Pero después de un par de intentos, conseguimos el patrón que buscábamos.  A excepción de retocar un poquito la sisa de la manga y peinar todo el peluche, ya os podemos enseñar a Fibrilio terminado. Os dejamos unas fotos rápidas que hicimos anoche.  Y qué decir, estamos demasiado orgullosas del resultado ;_; han sido muchas horas invertidas en patrones y pruebas, sobretodo por la dificultad que daba hacer tantas capas en un peluche. Pero nos encanta, se ve super bonito y fiel al original!   Estamos deseando hacerle el photoshoot final este fin de semana.
